The aftermath of the crash and that hospital scene, some extra thoughts on the story at the end of this one as it's a really important scene so a little book club ramble on Edward. Will definitely have to do a deep dive on the movies some day, the more I read this particular book and we know what Edward is thinking, is fascinating!

Reading Midnight Sun to help you sleep, Part 3 of the flipped POV Twilight adventure.
I'm enjoying the tone change in this one, it feels like Twilight from a more "fun" angle, and I always enjoyed the Cullen gang, so seeing more from them interacting each other and more dialogue, great!
There's also a lot of comfort in returning to the more subdued and simple start to everything, as the books got "bigger" and so did the stakes, it's really quite cosy just reading about Edward s...

It's time.
Midnight Sun is the first book in the Twilight saga but this time told from Edward's POV, as he struggles with his nature and can hear the thoughts of others inside his own head. It's perfect for Halloween season and this first chapter definitely gives a dark twist on the tale we read all those years ago (he is a vampire after all, and has some interesting thoughts)
So excited to read this one with you. Shall we begin?
