June WIP 2025

Started rendering the last part of the Mai animation. Got about 1240 frames to render, and it seems to be rendering at 2minutes a frame. So probably 40 hours. I am rendering it when I sleep and trying to get work started on the next animations during day time.

Well.. Got a 5090.. But...

Alright. I got a ZOTAC 5090 over a week ago from newegg. I havn't talked about it until now after testing for a few days. However, I am debating if I want to keep it. What do you guys think?

-The ZOTAC 5090 costs me 2.9k (3.2k after taxes) dollars. Had to borrow 700 dollars from family. First time borrowing money from family, and I kinda don't want to it because it feels crappy.
-It uses double the wattage of my 4080 (180-200 watts versus 380-420 watts) and it is only 30%-80% faster....

Some WIP on the Mai No Tell Hotel Group animation. I havn't really tried more than 2 D's since that Tifa Senate animation. I'd say I made an improvement in movement. Sculpting the holes to take more than 1 D is kinda annoying though and doesn't like to cooperate sometimes.

March News and WIP 2025

Hey hey! Finished up the Tifa Pinball alt animation 2 days ago and will be continuing work on the Yuffie Train animation after I finish setting up the computer I just built. Yuffie Model

I got the Yuffie model from Memz3D and it looks good. 15 dollars for the month hehe. I havn't worked with Memz3D models before, but I hope it will go smoothly with this animation. The Yuffie model does seem to be higher quality, but it uses 7GB of VRAM, which might be a problem with my GPU having only 16GB, which is why I tried to get a 5090 with 32GB of VRAM. Someone requested a bonus angle of Tifa's front when she got creamed. I did have that angle before, but I never rendered it because I didn't have enough voice to do both back view and front view. FF7 Tifa Pinball Alt WIP and other News

So the Tifa Pinball Alt option won in last month's poll. I have been working on it since yesterday and we might have a train being ran on Tifa :p.. Not sure if I want to have dudes lined up (first image) or just have 1 dude and keep re-using him over and over and imply there is a line (second image). 1 dude makes it faster to render and less resource. But 3 visible dudes in line makes for a better atmosphere.

Mai Shiranui No Tell Hotel Group WIP

I figured out how to make certain body parts be wet by doing vertex painting and creating a shader branch that works independently from the rest of the body. Looked at a few tutorials on how to make mouth lips wet, looking through discord replies for NSFW blender, and etc. Took over half a day to figure it out XD. Most models I use don't have wetness downstairs setup, so I hope I can apply this to all models that I work with in the future.

New 14TB External Harddrive coming! And some Tifa/Jessie and Poll results.

I have been relatively quiet since Halloween because I ran out of harddrive space X_X. 50GB left on my blender harddrive and usually 1 animation is 50-90GB. Gonna spend 3/4 of last month's patreon money on this 14TB external harddrive which should last me a few years. I will have to buy a second one (same model and size) maybe a few months later for redundancy and who knows what price its gonna be later. So yeah, 200 dollars towards an external harddrive.

Halloween 2024 WIP

Out of the blue :p.. been working on a Halloween 2024 animation. I know i said I wasn't gonna do one, but here we are. Guess who she is. It's to get my mind off the Tifa beach one for a few days X_X. it was getting annoying. Not sure if there will be enough time to get voicing for it. I animated the general thrusting. Gotta do the the lips and more specific/detailed parts of the animation.
