Hey dudes. So my whole kitchen is being refitted by the landlord this weekend which is causing mrs GROUNDEFFECTED to behave weirdly. So printing has almost come to an end for these two. There’s three plates that fingers crossed with have the rest of the parts I need for raph by tomorrow morning. I’ll share pics of him when he’s together.

But for now here’s Leo on his base and ready for prep I haven’t sanded nothing yet not even taken off the supports properly. Just cured and ready for prep

Lara is done. Those who wondered I know the sculptors name is Leandro abe and I think it’s abe 3d on socials.

Here’s also the first turtle printed. And jinx is primed. Voice over was tough today but I got there in the end. I think I might make an extended version of Lara for patreon or I might livestream on Saturday one or the other. Not sure yet I’m very confused. Haha

Didn’t do too much today. Still a bit tired from yesterdays journey. But I got some base coats down. Need to start building up volume. Hope you guys all had a fantastic weekend.

Went to salute today and picked up this perfect grade robot man hopefully be able to put him together for a video one day. I didn’t do much else today as the convention is so far. Spent 6 hours driving to and from the damn show.

Colour palette from apocalypse

I’m gonna try remember to do this again, save the paints and take a pic of them all together for you guys. Also I started on Lara today. Tomorrow is edit day for Thursday so I’m not gonna do anymore work on her till the weekend I think. Unless I get distracted as per usual. Haha

Work done today.

I finally put together jinx as well as finished apocalypse

And I made a start on next weeks model which is Lara craft.

I been testing the Uniformation ultrasonic cleaner and the curing station too and they do what they say they should. I like them I think but I need more time with them to know for sure. They’re bottom shelf type machines. They both have access from a lid on top and not in front making them good for bottom shelf I guess. Well if you’re short like ...

I didn’t do any work today 😬

I am pretty sure this is why my second plane got broken. I was supposed to work today but I thought I’d take a cheeky few hours to play instead and it came back to bite me in the form of my plane being thrown into the ground and broken hahaha I will print another one and put a bigger motor. Yes none of this has anything to do with painting but it is a 3d printed model so technically I did work today? Hope none of you threw your model into the dirt.

So obviously I’m working on the apocalypse from super shark but at the same time I’m prepping jinx for two weeks from now and also I reprinted the fpv wing. So I can rebuild it and maybe try not launch it like a butt hole.

I got two new printers coming that I’m gonna be able to show you guys too

And I managed to get about halfway with the skin video voice over.

Here is a video update I’ll also upload some BTS pics a little later. I really wanted to finish the skin video but it’s 8pm already I got to go home otherwise my wife’s gonna think I’ve got a newer model 😉

BTS stuff.

So it’s been mega busy as usual today. I was training with Frankie my tattoo apprentice as well as supporting jinx and also managed to paint the base for apocalypse I did not manage to do the voice over however but tomorrow morning is when I’m for sure gonna do it. I’ll also be working on the big boi to try get as much done as possible by the end of the weekend.

I tattooed today

I was really busy today tattooing and prepping the video upload etc so I don’t have much behind the scenes stuff from today, I am going to try sneak out of the studio tomorrow and voice over the skin video to see if I can get it up by tomorrow evening. Don’t hold me to it but Imma try!!

Also can confirm that later this month I’m painting jinx from ca 3d and possibly gonna do storm if I can find a gap!!

Tau rc drone

I finally got the drone done.

And this week is the release of this video.

I know not many of you are here for warhammer but it’s a thing I like to convert. Because it feels like it proves that my modeling is on a different level. I’ve always been the kind of person to take things too far and this is one of those areas I love to explore in my videos from time to time. Hopefully you’ll still enjoy the video

I worked a little on the tau and in keeping true to myself I got distracted and accidentally built and primed a kill team of blue alien dudes. Don’t even need them. Was a possible fodder for the video but I’ll see if I even get anymore done to them cos I’m working on the skin video this week.
