A new character!! Woah!! This is Kazuko Kadokawa, she's a detective from Kuzureru who escaped when the Modernites took over! She takes herself -very- seriously and she's here to help solve any mysteries that come up in the train ride.

Here's a fun update- the whole look of the battle system has been completely overhauled! Now characters have portraits instead of just names, enemies have health bars, and there's a cool Earthbound-style moving psychedelic background! Now hopefully, battles will look a lot more visually interesting!

This is something I'm sure plenty of you noticed in this month's bonus scene- but Evoria has new menu designs now!! I wanted to capture the kinda "70s Rainbow" aesthetic I did for the title cards (And with some design help from SeaBea) I think we managed to capture that!
There's also a light and dark more, for better accessibility, plus the character portraits in the menu now have cool stylized 70s pattern backgrounds! All of this is to make the game feel more unique and pers...

Chapter 5 has been out early for about a day now! One thing I always like is hearing feedback from people! That's right!! The Belly Direct trailer wasn't kidding- Evoria Chapter 5 is available to all Patreon supporters RIGHT NOW!

With new item icons also comes something more exciting- new custom-made icons for the more... "unique" situations... Here are a few cool examples- New belly icons for when Renee and Naomi are stuffed and new icons for gulp and when an enemy is swallowed!
I also (slightly) tweaked the gulp skill again! This time, when you swallow an enemy, their struggles don't damage you! Instead, they only have a small chance of escaping your stomach. This was done to fix a bug where it would say...

With Chapter 5 still in its final polishing stages, I added in new item icons!! The old ones were getting very same-y, so I figured these new ones would help spice things up! Being able to change their color also gives the benefit of making it more clear which weapons and armor are for Naomi and which are for Renee, now they're color coded!

Lilith meets with a familiar bartender and decides to challenge her to an unusual card game!
Lilith is on a winning streak, because she won the October Character Poll, hence this bonus scene!! SeaBea even came up with the idea for this scenario AND did some fun new art specifically for this scene!! Don't get toooo used to having special art for each new bonus scene, but SeaBea figured that since Lilith had won twice in a row, she deserved it!

This is kinda in the same vein as the save crystals- an option to retry battles immediately if you lose! For the release of Chapter 5, I'm also trying to clean up some smaller quality-of-life things in the previous chapters, and dying and having to restart everything is a big sticking point for a lot of people! Hopefully this feature can remedy that!

Here's a fun one- crystals that let you save your game!! This is something that a lot of RPGs have (The Mario and Luigi games in particular come to mind haha) so I figured it would be good to put in Evoria! That way, if you die, you won't have to worry about forgetting to save, because you'll have checked in with the crystals not to far back!

One of my absolute favorite things to do in Evoria is map out the world and figure out what kind of people would live in all the towns and cities and areas! Here's a map of Florit- the main world you'll be venturing through in Evoria!
