Lines of perspective not only help to properly place elements in space when drawing; wisely used, they can enhance elements in a composition or lead the viewer´s eye to a part of the drawing that has a special meaning in the story.

A drawing has to tell a story. Lines of action are very important to achieve that. Here there are two main lines of action: Dirk´s body leaning towards the burger and the burger itself about to be eaten. Both lines converge tors Dirk´s mouth, which is a very meaningful element in his illustration. I went flexible and curved the stool to enhance Dirk´s movement.
