This month's main feature sees X-men's Rogue & Psylocke detained and held captive by some particularly crude, and demanding baddies, showing their hungry adventure into the prison's canteen; and it's an all you can eat team exercise. Which feels on the lighter size, but this picture was somewhat spontaneous in nature and an opportunity for me to test out some brushes I've been wanting to work with for a while; consequently my attention was drawn more to the picture than it was properly documenting it. I hope you can allow for that in this instance.

This is a picture I had a very clear vision of in terms of composition and colour, I really knew what I wanted to do with this one and I think the development shows that. Slightly lower count for images on this one as I found myself just taking this one down step by step without reminding myself to record the progress better, I hope it doesn't spoil the process for you.

Nightclub

Bounty hunting often leads to seedy locations on the galactic rim, especially in the places humans don't venture often, if at all: Federation controlled space can feel clean and safe, which is what makes the parts they don't so thrilling... And when hunting is a livelyhood, surrender can become a lifestyle.

Hungry Hungry High Elf - Snippets

This one starts with a sketch I did in about 2 minutes, and it just grows from there. Not a whole lot to say otherwise, I just hope you find it interesting to look through.

She's technically a high elf still.

Sylvanas hogging the main feature slot again, and also hogging the nut. This was an attempt at trying to paint without being so dependent on line art, I don't know that it worked really, I still feel like I have a lot to learn but maybe it's a step in the right direction.

Sketch, and fully coloured versions with/out pasties. No lineart for aforementioned reasons.

Jessica Cannon - Snippets

I think this set is cool because it went very smoothly, but you'll also get to see the power of eyeliner in action (images 19-21). I sort of wanted to go harder on the shiney parts of her outfit but decided to keep it simple, it was meant to be a sketch after all. Watch out of the background colour switch jumpscare.
