Status report - October 2023

Hello everyone!

We are still in the process of polishing the release, and while things were looking good, we realized that some important stuff was missing, even for a partial release. Therefore we went back to the board and worked on some additions and fixes.

Also while playtesting the other parts of the updates, we noticed some bits and pieces that needed some more work. We are hard at work to redo the renders while advancing on the last scene.

Hello everyone !

Episode 3 of Throne of Blood has entered production. After a short break, Emilia, James and the crew are back on the set to shoot the 3rd installment of the game.

Status Report - December 2022

Merry Christmas Everyone !

This is hopefully the last message before release.

I wish we had something better than seasons greetings today but as we drew close to releasing, we noticed some big flaws in the game while playtesting it. Therefore we had to go back to the drawing board for more polishing work. Also the music wasn't up to our needs so we are searching for more.

Status Report - September 2022

Hello everyone !

The wait is near. It has been a long time since Episode 1, and a lot have happened since then. However, we finally managed to reach the end of the episode.

There is little left to be done, we are play testing and redoing the menus, that were quite ugly to be perfectly honest.

The longest thing to be done yet is the French translation. After that, we will do the final tests and adjustments and we will be able to release the game, at last.

We are glad to announce that we are approaching the end episode 2.

Not announcing a date yet, but we are entering the polishing phase. This is very a very exciting time and we are happy to share it with you guys!

Status report - August 2022

Hello everyone!

Last month was hectic. The heatwave hit my PC hard as the temperatures reached big heights and the rendering GPU was taking quite the toll. The rendering of the game images was slowed down as the GPU could only work at 60% speed.

The decision was taken to watercool the PC, and the least I can say is that it didn't go smoothly. I won't go into too many details, but let's say that two water pumps later and a replacement CPU water block, the new cooling is finally in ...

The main effort is now on the renders. As you may know, the project started during the heights of the COVID pandemic, which gave us more time at home to pose and render. We are still progressing. The base script is done, and renders are following at a steady pace.

There is still a lot to do in the render category, as we have added a couple of scenes to add consistency to the episode, and the following ones. There will be much coding to do too. Hello everyone,

I hope you had a great start of the year! January has passed without news but we have never stopped working. The game progress hasn't always had the pace we wanted, but work has been, and is still to this day, very demanding. This leaves a bit less time than expected on the game but we are still at it.

Progress report #2

While we believed that the release would be tomorrow, the first beta play testings revealed some flaws that we are fixing right now.

We are delaying slightly the release to Saturday, Dec. 18th to be able to provide a better experience to all the players.
