I'm not sure how often I will make studio vlogs anymore since I'd like to spend more time creating pottery, but I'm thinking maybe once a month could be nice? I guess we'll see 😊

I'm really proud of myself for the number of pieces I have been able to make this month. It's really exciting to see them all together 😊
I still need to quality check them all to make sure that they are perfect. I noticed that some of the bird planters did not turn out very nice, so I will hold onto those for now and figure out what to do with them later.

I'm prepping some new bird pins to go into the shop this weekend! They are the birds from birbfest 2022 😊 There are 10 new bird pins, but I only ordered 10 of each.
If any of them are really popular, I might order more. BUT I am planning to do fewer bird pins in the future to focus on other kinds of products.

March's theme is going to be Guinea Bees! I realized I have never drawn guinea pigs for Patreon rewards 😮😮 So I'm really excited that these will be the first ones. I think they're gonna be so cute! Wheee!! Got my test back! I'm really happy with how it came out despite the clay coming out more red than I expected - I thought it would be more yellow/beige.
I wish I'd cleaned up the bands around the face more. Usually it isn't an issue because the glaze typically hides all that, but with raw clay (no glaze) it's really apparent.
I need to test if this clay is fully waterproof or not without the glaze, but it isn't such a big deal if it isn't since these are for plants. They ...
I've been playing around with a new type of clay that I think would be really lovely as planters! Right now this clay looks light red, but when it's fired completely it will be light beige.
It's my first time using this type of clay and I'm excited to see how it turns out. I wanted to keep the clay raw, meaning without the shiny glaze over the whole thing. I'm not sure how it will turn out, but later today I will get my test samples back and will show you what they look like!

So in the summer of 2020, I bought 2 HUGE bags of packing peanuts. I didn't realize how big the bags were when I ordered them online and when they arrived, the bags were the same size as me. Last year, I did Birbfest for the first time in January 2021 - a challenge to draw 31 birds in 31 days. Originally, I did not plan to do it again but... I think I will be a little sad if I don't at least try 😅

I've finished my markets for the season! In total I did 4 separate markets spanning over a total of 9 days.
This particular market definitely took me the most time and energy, since it was not only the longest market in days but also the largest space I got to use. Instead of just a single table, it was an entire booth. My partner and sister were absolutely amazing in helping me set up the booth to get everything ready.
