This morning view of the lake is just breath-taking. Mist trapped in the valley and the overall humidity make it quite a challenging shot - a polarizing filter really helps in these situations!

Happy weekend, Beastlings! What are your plans?
I went out looking for dolphins with my new 600mm lens. Let me tell you - that thing is almost impossible to use without a tripod!
I didn’t find dolphins today but I did find these guys! I was getting frustrated at not being able to fully stabilize my shots (even holding my breath) until I came across the squirrel. Having a more still and close subject really eases the focusing process!
