Yang Guifei WIP, New poll, & Addon updates

Time for updates for the month of October 2020. For the character, I've been working on Yang Guifei, which you can see the on work in progress render above. This time, I'm using Rigify addon for the armature, which is better for animation rather than static posing. I plan to do something special for the final result, so stay tuned! :D

Miyamoto Musashi (August-September 2020 Model)

Here you go, this is Miyamoto Musashi dealing with the unusually extreme summer weather. This must be the most complex model that I've done. It took more than 2 months to finish because of various small parts and challenging lighting. I hope you like the result!

Miyamoto Musashi WIP

Time for August update. After some consideration, I choose Miyamoto Musashi for the next model. She uses Swimsuit Berserker costume because it's still a summer season! (Even though the beach is most likely still closed) :D

The image above is the WIP basemesh of the model. I added more textures and materials than usual, but it's still a work in progress, so some parts maybe aren't that polished.

That's it for today, now I'm going to continue working on the final model!

About Ucupaint

If you already messing around with my models especially on its material nodes, you might notice something called Ucupaint. That's the name of my addon for managing textures and various effects. It's not released yet but I'd like to inform you that I plan to release it after the next model is finished.

The addon still has plenty of bugs that I want to fix, so I want to take few weeks to work them out. After the release of the addon, I'll continue to create a new model.

Kama (June-July 2020 Model)

Here is the result of the second poll, Kama. Just like the previous one, I experimented with using different character artwork for reference. This one is from the amazing Parsley_F.  

I think this experiment has better results than the Ishtar one. Unfortunately, I went straight up to pose, so I didn't create T-pose this time. I hope I can do T-pose again in the next one.

It's still in progress

Time for end of the month progress. This time I can only show you the crop of Kama test render. The lighting and scene is really tricky so I need more time to finish it. I hope it won't take too long. Anyway, thanks for all the support and have a nice day!

Ishtar WIP

Hi guys, here's April update, I'm still finishing up the final model of Ishtar. It's more difficult than I anticipated so I need more time to finish it. I hope it works out in the end.

It's almost done

The Saber Bride model is almost done. I actually almost posted it but i noticed some errors. So I need few days to fix it. Hopefully I can still post it in Sunday.
This also means this model is late. To compensate on that, I'll post extra model on march. More details about that later.

Saber Bride WIP

Sorry for late late update. My next model is Saber Bride, I actually already create the pose for her, but the result still wasn't good enough to publish, so only basic T-pose render for now. Thanks for all your supports, I'm gonna back to continue to finish the final model as fast as I can.

Time for new update! The next model will be Shuten Douji from Fate Grand Order. It's still in T-pose and looks a bit different if you familiar with this character. I'm just messing around with her color. Don't worry, it won't be looks like that in the final version. I hope I can finish it early next month.

New Model WIP and some announcement!

Hi guys! Guess what? I'm not dead yet. This is my first post since 2 years ago, lol. Truth to be told, I spent these last years working on my new workflow and tools since a lot of change happened in Blender 2.8. I guess now I can come back to create more models. Hi all! I hope you like my first model I created for Patreon. Just as you know, it got delayed up to two months, far from my early estimation.

Truth to be told, it's kind of hard for me to stay using only realtime material on Blender 2.7. That was one of big reason for more than a month delay. I feel like I just can't make the model looks right.
