It's been more than one month since I open up Patreon and since then, not even a model is finished yet. I estimated it will be delivered in two to four weeks but various situations hinders me to meet that target.
This is actually my first time really doing real character modeling again since last January, so I need few adjustments to my workflow and techniques. It takes a little bit of time, but I hope it will only happen once.

Just as promised, this is real update for Shizuka. The screenshot above is material test rendered using Blender internal viewport.
I'm using realtime anisotropic specular that I created before for the hair. The face is painted using yPanel and using blender diffuse ramp. I'm still not that satisfied with headband and the neckband render, so I'll try to improve it in the final render.

Last week I did experiment if realtime anisotropic shader using blender internal nodes is possible or not. And that's actually possible with some few tricks which too technical to explain, lol. The GIF above is the result. If you're interested, I put the blend file and the references I used below.
I will use this effect on Shizuka's hair, so this still count as character update :P. Don't worry, I'll really post her screenshot in the next update. :D

Like I said in last character WIP, I'm developing new feature for yPanel and it's already done. I implemented convert image to use another UV.
This feature is useful for those who like to just use quick unwrap and start painting. Most of the time quick unwrap produce bad UV but useful enough for painting purpose. You can always create new UV map with better layout and convert all your paint slots or images to the new UV.

Next character will be Shizuka from Queen's Blade. I just tested the proportion and color to match my references. No texture or sculpt yet (expect body & face). I'm still developing new yPanel feature I needed for this project, so next WIP might taking a little bit more time.
