There are many reasons why I am an artist. One of the biggest of those reasons is the ability to escape into whatever reality I can muster up with my own two hands. I may be stuck inside, but my mind can travel elsewhere. My soul is positively aching to travel, the kind of travel where you endeavor to get lost, but that will just have to wait. Lucky Damien gets to enjoy the fruits of my labor, just because I am locked down in quarantine doesn't mean he has to be.

Don't think I shared these yet, what the hell?

Lucky me gets some sexy selfies from my lovely bf which I then feverishly draw because what else would I do with them? I rather miss working with traditional mediums, these are ball point pen, copic markers, and white chalk markers. These turned out super well and therefore they must be shared and appreciated.

Dis here are my submissions to a figure drawing collab on Instagram I was invited to months ago. Once a month a model is approached and picked, a theme is decided on, then we all complete an illustration. It's been a good challenge for me and a way to draw something I might not normally. As you all may have noticed, I usually draw manly men, so drawing women with more curvaceous bodies is a good practice.

This one was a lil more complex, look there is a background, oh my god! Struggled with getting a camera angle, I want to avoid straight on shots cuz they are a little dry, but then it takes a wee bit longer to get it right.

Man, quite a bit of difference between the first sketch and the final pic huh? Go from toothpicks in grapes to thicc man in dress pants, I love it.

I figured I could show you the colors I use for the final too, generally I put that on last as it is very satisfying to see everything just pop as I add just a little bit of color.
