I wanted to get you all a chapter this week but I still feel terrible (though I feel better than last week). On top of still having a truly horrible lingering cough from COVID-19, we had a major plumbing emergency at our home that left us without a bathroom for most of this week. We ended up having to stay somewhere else — which was difficult with a curious toddler. I had to spend all of my time with him while still sick making sure he didn't make too much of a mess...

Our 18-year-old cat's health took a sudden turn for the worst this week and he passed away yesterday, on Thursday.
