The worst shooting I ever made with Martina, is still very interesting!
Cold and dark apartment, problems with my flash, something of a desperate situation...

Looking back at this photo, I can see some small blemishes I would retouch...
So, either I was less pedantic at the time, or I forgot to retouch this specific photo.
But you have to draw a line somewhere so, if I decided this folder was ready to show at the time, I must accept my decision also today.

Back to the 2 sisters from my last shooting, and this is the younger one.
I'm not going to push out their photos always in a couple, because Gracie was a far superior model, for the sheer amount of experience she has, whilst Anhelina had started the day before.

Not sure if the sunlight is the best condition to look at the ghost town of Consonno, but the light is certainly helping in getting a good detail in Ania's body.
I love this model, and I wonder where we're going to go the next time... maybe in the abandoned Asylum I visited last Summer, that is going to be a blast!

I always feel guilty about not selecting enough back views of my beautiful models, as if that side of the human figure was not interesting enough.

Photography needs to put in some effort, you can't just stand up and shoot, you need to squat frequently if you want to get the best result or, at least, try different approaches.
In this case, a lower point of view is helpful in making the figure of Sugar more slender.

Martina and Annalisa really know how to strike a pose, like pin-ups on steroids.
I remember when I was young, and still in art school, I was cutting out and collecting images of n4ked ladies, and sometimes copying them on paper with a Bic ball pen.
I guess that was the seed of something to come in the future, something I wasn't aware of at the time...

Side view is as interesting as front or back, and can highlight some specific attributes of a model, like the curvature of bottom and breast.
And, in the case of Anneth, these curvatures are particularly sweet and smooth.
But, in this photo, it is the curvature of her smiling lips that is the most charming.

During this set I was using my traditional spotlight I used to use on building sites in my 20ties, when I was working as a restorer.
This cable powered incandescent lamp is heavy, cumbersome and gets very hot, but the light it provides reflected off the walls is warm and plentiful.

I have been referring to Dottir looking as a Wonder Woman during our first encounter and, against this white background, her muscular structure appears in all its might, covered by a perfectly tanned skin, with sufficient tan lines to bring her back to earth for our appreciation.

The hair of Annalisa is of a wonderful black color and, like the curtain in a theater, it opens up a world of stories.

This is the first photo I shot with the Nikon D810 and the Profoto A1 flash.
I'm very happy about the balance between the artificial light in the room, the flash bouncing off the wall (you can see it in the catch light in the eyes of Paulina), and the sunlight coming from the window and guiding our eyes towards the body of the model.
I'm happy because I managed to retain the mood I was feeling in that moment, also through the editing process, so you can appreciate it as well.

I don't place my models on the bed to suggest the idea of having sex with her, to seduce the observer.
I place her on the bed because of the poses she is going to take on it.
The positive things are sheets are usually white, and reflect light in every corner of the body; models are comfortable on the soft and warm surface, making the poses feel natural.
The negative thing is the model body partly sinks inside the fabric, and is hidden to our view.
But who cares about those details...

A quick stroll on the nudist beach with Ania, just to change from the city apartment of the past 2 days.
I find this pictures relaxing and exciting at the same time, and I love the Adda river on the background, the same river that inspired the scenery on Leonardo's Gioconda.

Today I'm posting 3 photos of Gracie, the younger and smallest of the two sisters I worked with on Sunday.
I was lucky the night before, the partners of these two beautiful ladies were convinced to buy them some roses, because I used these flowers a lot during our shooting, with both models.
Gracie is the true pro model in the family, and she had no embarrassment in front of the camera, and she also managed some beautiful smiles for me.
