It's a long time I don't get the chance to use the house of my friend Roberto in Brescia, but I still follow his IG profile, because he has a special taste for pretty girls.
Whenever he tags a new girl, I immediately check her out.
Jiulia was discovered by me on his Instagram profile, and more recently £lisandra, and others as well.
I hate Instagram because it is always censored, but it is still useful to find potential models, that is, if they care to reply to my messages...

Today I'm shooting in Merate, in this same house.
Some of the pictures are probably going to be made in this very same bedroom, but not many.
In the case of Stelladiplastica we were confined in this single room because it was the only one we managed to warm up in November, we just made a quick set in one other room and immediately went back to the bedroom.
But today I will be able to take the new model wherever I want, and I will!
And I can anticipate the skin of this new model...
On Saturday (tomorrow) I will be shooting with a new model in this Merate house.
The compact point and shoot Fujifilm X100V served well with Linda while exploring the recesses of this house, and I like the resulting pictures (like this one).
Nevertheless I will resist using this camera again on Saturday, or even using a wide angle lens on the Leica SL2-S.
The reason is I'm not after a street photography - documentary look, I prefer to highlight the models anatomy in the best possible...
Last Sunday was a sunny day in Merate, I could finally shoot outside and use my longest focal length, and I did!
But for few pictures I decided to pull the thick curtains in the bedroom and shoot at very high ISO, WHY?
I wanted a special grainy and organic effect, I wanted to soften up the strong and exotic traits of Elisandra, to make her look more gentle and, with the 58mm lens, I had to get close and suggest a special intimacy.

I still remember when I was complaining about Cristiana because she couldn't keep still for long enough to focus with my elaborate system.
I have to zoom in the electronic viewfinder, focus manually until I see a hint of red marking in the eye from the focus peaking, zoom out, recompose and take the shot.
During our first shooting I was desperate, because she was unable to stand still for long enough but, as time got on and shooting after shooting she must have tuned in my needs.

Ary has few tattoos, but one is very big and elaborate: it is time to examine it in detail.
In this picture I also wanted to leave the stretch marks visible, because I find them pleasing and symmetrical.
I do retouch them whenever I think they upset the flowing of a naked body, but in this case they become part of the appeal of a beautiful natural body.

The month of May 2022 is going to be a memorable one in the history of Bramley Apple, and not only for the sheer amount of shootings I managed to put together, but also for the quality of the models themselves.
£lisandra is no exception, a Dominican beauty this time, and another great addition to the project!

I was writing to Chiara Bianchino for a possible job with a friend of mine and I discovered she is now living in Greece!
Also my beloved Martina appears to be stuck in Spain at the moment.
I feel lucky when distant models decide to pass through Milan (like Sophy, for example), but I'm sorry to see Italian model leaving to go abroad (even if for a limited period of time).
It is like when you visit a museum, to discover some paintings have been borrowed to a foreign museum.
Every model brings on the table some new poses (on the bed, in this case).
This open legs pose was suggested by Sophy, and it was quite interesting, albeit she also selected the conservative point of view as well...
I've selected a few pictures from these latest shootings just to keep your interest alive, because on Sunday I will have to make space for the new one!

It is weird how most of these beautiful girls are not happy about their appearance!
Each of them has some kind of despise towards some part of their bodies.
In the case of Ary it is the face, she was genuinely suffering whenever I attempted to take her portrait.
That's why in most of the pictures you will see her in profile, with the hair in front, looking down or whatever she could come up with to hide her features.

I love to shoot my nude models in a house, because it feels more natural than a studio.
Better still if it is their own house, because it tells much more about their personality.

Returning from our Model Tour in Ferrara, my wife and I arrived home at a reasonable time.

One patron has pointed out that colour files are always smaller (lower quality) compared to BW.
Has anyone else noticed this problem or is it something wrong in his system?
I've checked and both files appear to be the same quality to me, colour should be slightly bigger just for the sheer amount of informations it contains.
This time I've selected the BW as the first photo to show you (maybe that could have been the reason...)

The good thing about having to post 365 pictures every year on Patreon (plus 5 every week on regular social media), is an excuse to access my huge Archives and look into my work very frequently.
This way I am constantly exposed to some of the most beautiful models available for nude photography in Italy.

Cristiana can't change color, I'm pretty sure about that.
In this picture it is the background that resembles her color.
But this makes her eyes, hair and tattoos stand out even more from the rest of the picture!
Also the selective focus is helping in maximising this effect.

I'm very happy about my last shooting, because of the beautiful new model, and also because I finally went back to my role of creator.
Most of the times I am just a curator of my huge Archive, but it is only when I'm shooting that I'm really creating.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy also selecting, editing and retouching the pictures, or sharing my work on social media, even if it is just a by-product of my creation.

Models are everywhere, in Italy and abroad, but Milano is a special city.
All these beauties appear to end up in Milano at some point in their career, you just have to keep both eyes and ears open, and wait for the right opportunity.
It is like a huge spider web places in a strategic position, and every model will eventually end up in it.
Not sure any other city is so attractive in this regard, not even Rome...

Yesterday everything went wrong right from the start!
The reception desk clerk won’t let me into the hotel because I wasn’t a guest.
The model came down from her room and we agreed to cancel the shooting and do it another time.
But then I thought about it and went back to the Hotel to ask how much an extra room would cost me.
It was pretty expensive, considering my limited budgets, but I decided to do it anyway.

Today I'm shooting with a new model in Milano.
On Thursday I was about to cancel the whole thing because the model started backing off on what we had agreed upon.
Apparently some girls don't really look at my work before accepting the job, but they start creating problems later in the process.
We will be shooting in a very small hotel room, in a mild nude style, but at least I've managed to limit the damage by shortening the session to 2 hours.

My shooting for the 8th of May was in danger, because the model's workshop in Milan the day before was cancelled.
So she was not coming up from Ferrara just for me.
For the last 14 years me and my wife were stuck at home with our beloved cat Chérie, because it was difficult to arrange for somebody to keep her company and give her food in our absence.

When I drive, I like to work the tire compound into the tarmac surface, playing with the limits of adherence and forcing the performance limits of the vehicle.

I know it is early, but I'm already preparing the gear to take with me for the shooting scheduled for the 1st of May.
We will be in a hotel room so space will be tight, I'll have to rely on shorter lenses.
Also light might be an issue, so I will take a flash, just in case.
The model is on the expensive side, young and perfect, so I need reliable and well proven lenses (no experiments this time, I can't afford to screw it up!)
