During this shooting I was inaugurating a lens that soon became one of my favourite, actually the new standard glass that took over the role of the Leica Summicron-M 50mm.
Thanks to the mirrorless technology of the Panasonic Lumix S1 and its focusing aids, I felt brave enough to buy a f 1.4 lens for the first time in my life, the Voigtländer Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II.

I've finally exported the pictures of Stella from Lightroom and started the long retouching phase.
She is like a ghost, her skin is so light in color I'm always afraid of leaving the photos too bright.
But in the end, her presence is always strong and memorable, like in this picture.

Somebody was asking to have a good look at the front of this new model, so I selected a picture to show you just that.
During this entire shooting I used a new LED spotlight to help the natural light from the windows, this time one using a battery (to avoid the flickering effect I have experienced with the previous one), and its color temperature was neutral daylight.

I'm always aware of whatever is hanging between the legs of my models, because it can be mistaken for a male attribute and spoil the feminine appeal of the body.
In this case, fortunately, it is clear it's just the hand of Martina we are spotting between her legs and, by now, we are positive she has a standard female body!

The title is somewhat misleading, I don't want to be separated from such a lovely subject as Cristiana. The separation I search for is between the model and the background (the kitchen in this case). The Leica Summicron is doing a good job in blurring the background and making the body of Cristiana even more prominent inside the frame.

This is the highly tuned body of Stelladiplastica.
She has always been a dancer and an artist all round.
And the tattoos have transformed her entire body in a canvas.
Check out also the hard working skin on her feet (and this was after some months of pause from the dancing due to Covid).

I've published already 23 pictures of Stefani, according to the tags, plus all the ones I've published elsewhere between December 2017 and now.

A low terrace in Gallarate center is necessarily exposed to onlooking condos, there is no second guess about that.
Maybe not from the side of the plants, but behind my back I had a lot more palaces with infinite windows oriented in the direction of Cristiana.
We kept it brief and quick, but I'm pretty sure some people got a good view of this beautiful young woman.

Don't tell me the camera you use makes no difference, because it is not true.
This photo is a good example.
I used the (quality point and shoot) Fujufilm X100V to try and give a "Polaroid" instant photo look, less technical and refined, complete with an underestimated flash of light to make everything even more over the top.

Does staying nude makes you nervous?
Apparently nudity does not effect Martina at all, and she feels perfectly at ease in her Birthday suit.
This is one of the reasons that makes her my favourite model: if your aim is to normalise nudity, you better find a model that really feels confident in her skin, and very few models do it as naturally as Martina.

Light is a mystery.
Photographers should know it and master it, but sometimes even them are surprised by photos that overturn the rules and still look good.
This one is an example, where the shadows are more meaningful than the lighted parts.
Our eyes are trained to look the light parts before, and for this reason you are required to look at this image for a longer period of time, pass by the lighter sections, and search for the eyes of Cristiana in the shadows.

Nudism and naturism are a way of life.
I'm not particularly into these lifestyles, but I always wish pretti girls to embrace these way of thinking.
How much easier would my hobby become if I could just tell a regular girl with no modelling experience to pose as if she was with her nudist friends.

Cristiana was one of the models with whom i have tried the mighty Nikon 180mm f2.8 ED AI-s, one of my longest focal lengths, that needs plenty of space to operate properly.
For this photo you can see a relaxed Cristiana, but I was in the other room pressed on the furthest wall.

When you shoot in a small apartment, you might have to do with only one source of natural light, only one window to play with.
Even so, this could give you direct and front light on your subject, side lightning, or backlight like in this case.
What is important, is to always try to make your subject stand out.
It helps if the subject is already outstanding in the first place, like Stefani...

I know I was nasty to my new favourite tool a few days ago, showing you a picture of Cristiana shot at 12,500 ISO.
I was arguing that even with all the latest technologies distilled inside the backside illuminated sensor, without any noise reduction applied, the files are not very good.

What a splendid apartment was this in Milano.
A vast terrace with a beautiful view on the City.
When you turn around, you can see the bedroom, with Martina naked inside.

Apparently there are 2 more lenses on the way, another gift from a follower, both Canon FD, 20mm and 135mm.
The 135mm is the more useful for my photography, even if I have already 3 examples of this focal length.
Like the SMC Pentax-M 135mm f3.5 that took this picture, this lens was the first and only lens donated by a follower, and I was happy and honoured to use it!
