Artistic magnetism works with few models.

It is not difficult to find interesting photos of Martina choosing between 14 shootings.
This is a real record, if you think the closest model is Puffa with 4 shootings in total.

Not sure if it is a curse or what, but it is difficult to work more than 1 or 2 times with every model.
Either is my decision, or theirs, frequently because of the excessive body exposure issue, or simply we are not given more chances by fate.
Whatever the reason I'm always struggling to find new model...

This is the new model from yesterday's shooting.

I had this special beads for a long time, but never found the right model to use it as a prop.
Somehow I felt she was the right candidate and I took it with me.
And I was right, she was willing to break some new visual taboo for me.

She is a good friend of our beloved Martina, and the two of them were sleeping together in this apartment until the day before our shooting.

Hiking on the "Canto" hill with Puffa.

Near my house there is this hill full of public trails to be enjoyed walking around all day.
And this is the best way to hike in a natural way, we were lucky because there was nobody around to interrupt our work.

The mermaid.

Shinrin is a graceful creature, despite the strength she displays in other aspects of her life.
The first time I visited her apartment she was sleeping on this hideous inflatable bed with her boyfriend, but one year later she had a proper bed in the room.
I guess love can convince us to accept plenty of compromises, but only for a limited amount of time 😂

Even if the bed is awful, the linen cloth reminds us about the sea surface, as if Shinrin was a mermaid that gave up her fis...

How would you define a "portrait".

One of you patrons has asked me in a private message for: "... some (just) portraits of Martina". 

I wonder if this picture could qualify as such, because for me it is really difficult to cut out her beautiful breast from any picture. 

But I understand his request: even if all of us are inevitably driven to the secret album and the hot contents concerning this girl, the real magic of Martina is in her eyes and the constant enigmatic smile to turn pale even the Monna Lisa...

The body is a great canvas and offers a wide surface to spread some ink on.
Some bodies are a masterpiece even before getting the ink, like the one of Stella, a dancing machine perfectly tuned.

The theme and variations idea for MYM.

The idea of theme and variations is popular in classical music, think about Bach’s Goldberg Variations BWV 988, where you start with an Aria, followed by 30 different interpretations.

Reflecting Puffa.

I don't recall having ever published pics from this sequence with Puffa.
This is a concrete mixing plant, more or less abandoned, and I wanted to play with the reflection on the water.
The result is not as rewarding as I was anticipating, but it was worth a try, just a few shots before Puffa was devoured by mosquitoes.

For all the lovers of lingerie, this picture is from one of the rare occasions I have ever shot in this style, during a workshop with Sadie near Turin.

Exif data on this photo appear to be all wrong, if I remember correctly I was using the Nikon AF Nikkor 85mm f1.8 AF-D on the D810: it gave a beautiful bokeh on the old wall in the back of Sadie, and the stronger light on her is helping even further in separating the model from the background.
I hate when this effect is recreated...

"Artistic" does not mean of bad quality, so I tend to avoid mirrors, glasses or any other surface that can damage the ultimate quality of a photo.

On the other hand, these techniques are always welcome during wedding photography sessions, because you have to make look good ordinary people with no experience in posing...

"Half dressed" would translate in "total defeat".

I just can't stop shooting, even when the model is wearing something to warm up her body during a break.

I should consider making picture of the girls when they are dressed, but I'm not going to!
This is what makes my approach different from all other photographer, I don't build up nudity through gradual undressing of the model, instead, I wait until she gets completely naked before I take up the camera. 😈

Femininity is a mystery I love to explore.

This balcony had a great view on Brianza area in Italy, at the same time Martina was fully exposed.

How to deal with messy background.

Wider aperture of the lens and overexposing are a good way to give less importance to a busy background.
In this case Fanny was in shadow and is exposed correctly, whilst some of the background is burned out by the sun light and blurred out of focus.
This image was shot on the Sony A7, high ISO have created a noisy image, but still organic and acceptable.
The Leica Summicron still allow you to count the eyelasches despite the noise.

On the background you can spot the shape of my Contax-Zeiss Planar T* 100mm f2. It was used very little because this model is another one that can't keep still, so she is not ideal for the style of shooting I have developed.

Valeria in chains - Introducing Nude Brigade

This girl was going to school with my nephew, the younger of the two, and few years later (Jan 2017) I had the privilege to shoot with her in my house.
I wonder how many new generations I will get to picture in their natural state with my nude project...
I hope many, and I'm sure there will always be more beautiful girls coming out from each new generation, let's hope they will keep wanting to pose naked for me.

This same tree has been playing with 2 very attractive models in front of my camera (and many more played with it because it is in the garden of a nude photographer friend of mine).

Rarely I have excuses to hear from the past models, particularly if I have ruled them out of my project for insufficient body exposure.
Fortunately with Miele I'm still in contact for some translations in French we need to do at work.

I mean that the next time you work with the same model you will find a very different look.
It is not just a matter of young bodies evolving toward adulthood, but also the evolving of the skin canvas.
