2019 has been a very expensive year, I made 14 shootings instead of the expected 12, and I purchased far too much photographic gear.
Even If I stressed my finances a great deal, I'm very happy about the results, and I'm also very grateful to you Patrons that helped me out facing all these expenses during my first full year on Patreon!

This was our second shooting (we've done 8 so far), but our artistic relationship was perfect right from the beginning.

I'm editing many shootings at the same time now that I'm on Holiday, this was from May 2019.
Some older sets have been left behind to work on my favourite models, but I hope to catch up on some of the old stuff in these few days.

Sofia was pretending to be tied to the tree for me, maybe this is not apparent in the picture, but frequently you get interesting results even if you don't manage to convey the original idea.

I'm more into prime lens lately, but this 80/200mm 2.8 zoom is a great lens in its own right!

I always try to steal a moment of true intimacy from my models.
It is never enough to have their naked bodies on display for my camera, I also want to have a glimpse of their naked souls.

At the time I was still using mainly the Leica M240, and in this case I pushed it to the limit of its possibilities due to the low light.
I wonder how the Lumix would have coped with these low levels of light...
Nowadays I'm more concerned about the limits imposed by the models, because the sensor seems to work fine in any light.

Martina was telling me:
"There is this light in the kitchen, but the other photographer said it's no good because it is too harsh."
"Well", I said: "let me try..."

The right exposure is everything, and the histogram in the modern mirrorless cameras is of great help, so I rarely miss a shot nowadays.
I would go as far as to say that the exposure meters are obsolete, at least until you start working with studio strobes.

This was an interesting table and a great background for Manya's body.
As far as I can see, the house had a lot of furniture somehow vaguely related with a typography.
When I was young I have worked in a print shop one Summer and the prints covering this table reminds me of the "sfogliacci", which were the first sheets of paper you left on top of the brand new paper you were going to print on.

This quilted sofa is very stylish and the temperature of the light was just right to make the beautiful skin of Martina shine.
