first try. do excuse the background noise, didnt realise I had everything un muted on the mixer the audio was coming from, this is only 3 filters on at the minute, but listen how funky they get when they are offset as bit with the offset knobs on the separate modules.
in order to get all of the filters working I need to rework my power supply. and also midi routing, I vastly underestimated all of that! so it looks like the next gameboy update will be about these! and then the next...

wow that was a slog!!! but they are done. these are the filters for the gameboy megamachine, sort of explains the radio silence this last few days, as not much to report, just hours upon hours of slogging making these things. but now they are assembled!!!

its on its way!!! the adsr and VCA are finished and will be up next week and the following week so keep an eye out. here is how the 123ADC is going. which may come out the same time as the midi-cv who knows. finally making some headway on scaling it./ which will come in handy when more of these circuits are about. still need to make an internal clock on the circuit and a rear bus connect isolation circuit but looookin gooooood.

Well! Always being optimistic. I Built a lot of the hardware today and now onto the pcb’s ... this is going to take a while 😂. But the filters will be grand! It may not be this weeks vid. I was being very optimistic on the time frame. Already soldered for about 10 hours and haven’t made a dent!!!!
I will have a couple of vlogs up this week. But these sweet peas are taking their time!

the 123 ADC module is done, shot a video yesterday evening on it, its rather sketchy haha. that video is to come, but here's the next vlog on this journey. The next one is turning it into a sort of bit crusher! close to when this dirty dac project comes to becoming a strip board layout ill make this vid public, but no idea when the heck that will be! a month at least. :)

Check that forbidden item in the background! Just been working on the poly mode. It’s nearly all working now! Just need to build in a midi merger and sorted in time for the livestream tonight to test it before I shoot the sega mk2 video!
So livestream is planned for tonight 8pm hopefully finishing this will be nice and quick but sorry if I start a tad later. Latest will be 8:30 but I’ll do my best for 8.

you'll be pleased to know the strip board layout for the tuner project is now up at the bottom of the 1222 VCO page :)

im currently just finishing up the page! I will be making strip board versions to most aspects of this project, I was hoping to have them done for today but this has been quite a busy couple of days getting all of this page put together!
They will be up in a little while.
also on this page is the Kicad Schematic document if you want to pop it in a smaller housing for your synth or whatever Trevor! plus a description of what I've done :).

So! after much talk on here with people. I have decided to make extra videos on a second channel called "Look Mum No Computer But More Serious Ish" which is a tad less rushy than the other ones and talks more about the gubbins. I haven't finished the video for the main channel yet! but both will be going live tomorrow! :).

so ahead of making a project I did this, and will actually build this as a funky drum sequencer, it should be super quick and easy, so will do it when I have a spare hour or two in the next few days :).
