Its very close! nearly all working. if you have eagle eyes you'll notice the LED's for the channel select aren't in yet. the channel selection function is the only thing left to finish. ill be doing that tomorrow evening. and if all goes well this should be the next vid! its taken a few days longer than I hoped, I was hoping to have this vid out today but that ain't happening haha.

Sega megadrive/genesis controller on its way

Happy holidays everyone!!! Just finished populating and labeling the panel for the sega genesis controller. It’s got all the controls for 4 fm operators then a knob to switch between the separate instruments and poly mode! algorithm select/fm feedback etc And also buttons for preset write and recall. Hopefully by end of the week will have it all wired out and give it a go. Hopefully all works nicely and makes a good vid :) will share the plans!

they are on their way, ill share an updated schematic (I put the transistor in backwards in the other ooooops.  if you have looked into building it all you have to do is twist that around. but the resistor values going into the filter cv are a little different too so will post an update! probably Monday :)

CEM 3320 Gameboy megamachine findings

hello! so here we go. after a couple of days of fiddling and thinking. this is where I am at. I will (hopefully tonight) adjust the schematic for a more modular suited design, as right now its bloated with gameboy megamachine connectivity features and can seem more complicated than it actually is. 

but attached is the schematic and also the kicad file of the schematic and when I make a modular specific schematic ill also share that, and hopefully down the line a strip board one too...

POWER BUS RAILINGS

so these are the railings I have been using this tour. they are good until there is far too much plugged in the voltage regulators don't initiate right. But I mean proper fill em up! I need to pop in a couple more diodes over the voltage regulators. but if you want to plug in 6/8 modules these are fine! so no need to solder in all of the connectors! I'm sharing as they do the job enough. if you wanna get one. go to a site like jlc pcb or something pop up the zip file in the PCB order. and you...

VLOG 81 up and running

The next vlog I’ll be running through some I findings and improvements within the cem3340 oscillator project. But they are working nice and dandy together with some noisy digital modules also plugged into the bus board at the same time. Even plugged in the modular into an extension cable with 4 heaters plugged in too. No change to the oscillators (yes that was a problem with an earlier iteration!!!! Heaters!!!)
