So yeah! Working out what’s best to do pcb wise! Eurorack not yet feel it needs more ins and outs. But no reason why the panel mount pcb would be an option. Other thing is.... built in power supply on the pcb’s or built to plug into modular supply!? So many choices!!!

hey so Calvin K expressed interest in this so here we go. super simple mixer, ive done this layout for a video im putting up next week on that big green fixed filter bank i built. all it is doing is taking all of the filter cards from the filter analyzer below it and mixing them together with volume controls! the above is a layout of how simple it is!

heres the next installment, with a push button that can be used to trigger it. then also a gate/trigger switch, which is useful. i tend to just use Trig, which turns it into an attack decay. but both are useful!! plus a handful more components with convert the gate signal into a trigger signal before entering the circuit!

Thanks for the patience on the stuff on that fart box machine I will be sharing everything about it very soon I’m just waiting on some pcb’s to come in early next week and I want to get another functioning one before I share the stripboard layout and all of that :D.

what a bleeding long day. been at it since 9 this morning turning a mangle of breadboard wires into a cohesive "fart box". its midnight now. Its now fully assembled!
BUT! i haven't turned it on yet. Because i knew id need to go sleep soon after, and if i powered it up and it isn't working properly, i will get all moody and not leave until i've probably made it worse whilst trying to remedy the issue in a frustrated haze!

last night i think i got to a point where i was happy to lay this out to build into a permanent device! when i have it all definitely working ill share the plans and layout etc!
This is it doing some more "farty" noises as it is a fat box afterall!!! aswell as some proper random stuff. Im quite impressed at how random you can get it. you can go from a nice sounding bass synth line to a drunk C3PO in a couple of knob twists

Day two, its getting much more musical. trying to do a synth voice that is odd. but also does the sounds i like from my big modular bass. I think its coming along. theres one more circuit im going to add to it. which wont do much. but something is coming along.
its also duophonic. but proper cross mod. so both melodies come out of both oscillators and stuff. proper incestuous squelchy farts.
the case design is looking pretty cool too!!! ill show you sooon.

It lives. it needs some fine tuning, but trying to make a synth voice that doesnt sound like other synth voices. but is still completely analog. Im still getting a hang of it! but its coming along!
needless to say ill share the design, aim was to be as chaotic, but musical as possible, with as little components as possible.
So yeah I was tasked to make an all analog fart Machine on twitter last night. Now after a day of eating beans and a Analysing (see the pun) fart waveforms. I have a 100 percent analog synth voice that is very hard to make sound anything but farts. The world needed it. It’s called the fart machine, I’ll be building it tomorrow in a nice enclosure and I’ll be documenting it, for whomever wants to build it. I found this from something that never made it into a video! but i figured there are some good drum loops in there! flanged fills, and gated reverb stuff! :).
So i haven't been able to work on the gameboy mega machine for the past 2 and a half weeks as i have been working away from home, which has been driving me mad!!! I did manage to bring some of the boring samey circuits to solder in the mornings but thats not too interesting.
So on friday ill be back on the gameboys. Im at a fork in the road where i can go down a number of avenues. so i figured why not leave it up to a vote!
