Idea for a simple module
So I got suggested this an hour or so ago. And I think it may be a video before Christmas! Totally feasible to do completely passively too!
A sidechain module. Usually to get sidechain on a synth you would send an inverted envelope into an open vca. Which turns it down when certain things happen like a kick gets..... kicked.
This could be a simple alternative cutting out the middle modules. And it just being one at the end of a signal chain.

so heres for mumma livestream. work out the best evening next week to do it. im around working on songs and gameboy machine next week. so i'm easy with either of these evenings! just depends who is around at that time!

Couple more camera angles (hopefully) built these bad boi chipboard boxes this morning... made sense to build up instead of along!!! KOSMO went to the toilet and somehow morphed into the cistern. Hahaha. This is part of the London musical instrument which won’t see the light of day till after crimbo. But finally next week! On to the gameboy machine WOOPWOOP

hey! so i tested this on monday, after a couple of wrong bits it was rectified!
Another stripboard layout (and code) is coming in the next few days for a 16 trigger midi module. which i built in a livestream. ill draw that up soon!

ok so you'll be relieved to know you basically can follow the livestream and it will work!
a mixture of that and the stripboard which i will share in the next couple of days with the adjustments.
All i did was wire 1 bloody wire 1 row out. i checked and checked, still managed to make the mistake!
the great thing about taking a break, is when you get back to it, you can usually find the solution within a few minutes, which i did! so now its sounding angry!!!
