Touring around making a little series

So you may or may not know. I’m currently on the road. Going to different cities in Europe for 5 days. Making a machine in each city! The first one in Barcelona is finished! I played it at my show last night (there’s probably some footage around), it took 48 long hours to build, I lost my patience a couple of times in that it was quite high pressure haha. sorry for the last minute on this reschedule, but its turned out the only eve i have free to do so before i go away to shoot a lot of stuff for 3 weeks on monday.

LINN DRUM UNHOLY DISTORTED SAMPLES

I was going through them chopping up. and found the actual sounds between the samples were in some ways better! so i've left the as 2 audio files to go through. theres a multitude of noisy sample parts. that electric mistress really makes the linn drum sound warped as!

spurred on by ian pryde's comment just now here is the CV in to control the PWM.  i have a number of parts on this done now. which one will you like to see next?

i want to do it in chunks like this, as i think its more inviting of a project. ultimately popped in a zine, with all of the isolated optional extras.

CEM 3340 SQUARE WAVE OUT ADD ON

Here we go the next step! Pulse width modulation is a very easy add on to this! which will come next in a few days. if anyone can look at this and work out how the PWM will be put into this! 

A clue. the right side of the bottom Dual Opamp is a mixing circuit, the plan is to mix the pulse width knob, with the pulse width modulation Control voltage. 

If your not sure you might see some similarities if you search up simple opamp mixer.

first modification on the Bruel and Kjaer machines. they have autonomous knobs driven by different mechanisms. tomorrows vid is modifying the bottom ones to make the most of these autonomous knobs without needing the external equipment that was used to drive them!

its that time again, next month is looking funky. its at the point where me and johnny are going to try and up the frequency. as we have down a setup where we can do a number of videos of different types and get them done and edited quite quickly :) so lets see how that goes!!!
