I tend to draw something for myself to unwind after finishing a commission. Starting from this weekend I will start working on the pledge reward sketches! Exciting!

More coloring! Applying makeup is always one of the funnest parts. For blueish skin, I tend to go with a darker blue for the lips, and for eyeshadow I mix in a tiny bit of red for a dark blueish purple.

With the Draenei being my favorite race in WoW, I do enjoy drawing one... Lots of shades of blue, and I might even play with the color levels after I’m done to cast a blue tint over the whole image for atmosphere, like what I did with the Elise/Widowmaker drawing.

I tend to do roughs in batches.
Fox girls are always some of my favorite to draw... especially when this one is uniquely themed. 😉
I’ve also been wanting to draw avatars for either goblins, worgens, or draenei. I guess I got my wish. :P

I wanted to see how far I could get before passing out.
Finally finished inking these two… Can’t wait to color them! Also patrons will get the high-res version of this line art at the end of the month~
Inking is happening! I find that with each new piece, I add more and more detail in the same amount of time, so everything still takes super long to complete. xD Also this line art will be available to patrons at the end of the month, you guys! 💜

Today being the day I made the big announcement about Patreon, I didn’t even get to work on this commish until later in the evening, but I think the Forsaken is coming along nicely!
This piece is sort of a continuing exploration of softer and wider ranges of color gradation that I started with my technomancer elf.

Flats completed for this Forsaken, and I started shading the face. I went with an overall colder and duller shades of blue and grey for a spookier feel. I also really like the toothy grin... the fangs really add personality for her. 😉

I’ve never drawn a Forsaken... (elves all day, everyday for me so far), so I was actually kinda excited about the opportunity. Yes, I actually went and did research on the skeletal structure of the human hand to have a rough idea on how to draw a Forsaken hand.
The knuckles are like little caps. They overlap each other.

Selkie’s adorableness was what made me gasp out loud when I was playing Fire Emblem Fates... and the fluffy-cutesy train only kept on going when I found out about Velouria! I like to think none the silly conflicts can affect Selkie and Velouria, whose families are separated by a line that these two couldn’t care less about.
I’ve also been trying to improve the level of detail in my drawings lately. I think it shows somewhat in the sketch?
