Finding Your Style
Having a defined Artistic style is something most visual artists and designers value. However, I think the pursuit of that can sometimes get in the way of creative expression.

I haven’t had a lot of time recently to create personal work so this was a fun one.
Kenny Burrell was one of the first blue note artists I ever discovered and it def started the jazz rabbit hole for me.
I’m so surprised I never designed something around this album midnight blue.

Felt like I hadn't created any personal work in a while and wanted to experiment.
this poster was made with a combination of printing and then reverse printing on velum transparent paper. As well as printing the final composition on transparent paper with the inkjet to create a wet stamp effect.
I struggle sometimes to come up with ideas or copy prompts to support my work, so what better than one of the best albums of the 80s/90s.
