I’m not in love with the notifications, or the bizarre inclusion of an optional chat page and when there’s discord integration already. It was already difficult to see when someone left a comment, now it’s much more difficult. I’m a bit obsessive at checking comments though, so I’ll still try my best to reply. Only a little sudden

Whether the gutters should be black or white paper causes me no end of stress. I think it has to do with the backgrounds being 'dark', but whenever i use white paper for the spaces between panels it comes out kind of too bright? So i'm using black for the paper, fuck it. It looks good. I'll be editing the previous pages to match, since i kind of didn't like it flipping back and forth.

Comics stuff that probably isn't super interesting to hear about...

Is my text too small?

Hey! So, i'm getting the impression that most people read Passiontail on their phones. My lettering is fine on something the size of an ipad / computer screen, but on my iphone SE, i have to actually focus to read the text.

Do you feel my dialogue text is too small?

Production Update : Hands, Sketch Suggestions.

Just a little heads up!

My hands have been pretty bad the past couple months, and it's impacting my ability to draw (literally, lines aren't going where i try to put them), so i need to dial it back a little bit.

Long story short, SMWTOB is the most labor intensive comic i've ever done, with most pages taking multiple days to finish. Stacked on top of that is the extra load from coloring the suggested sketches. I was working on two comics concurrently, and 2 sketch suggestions min...

I noticed while coloring this today that, during SMWTOB i've been coloring charlie's eyebrows brown, instead of white. Considering Blake's also got bright eyebrows, and i think what i've been doing looks better, they're brown now. shrug emoji~

Usually you'll see me complain about doing vore suggestions, because they can't be represented in a single image. They require at least 2 panels, and really, 3 minimum. it's a lot of work! But if i swap to doing one of these instead of the two i have always tried to do (back when the sketches were rendered super simple) i don't think it's a problem to do this sort of thing~

So, the original intent with Nimbilisk was a teal and gold sort of look, but honestly, it's a little weird for a creature that flies around in the sky. As you can see in the second image, i tried a million things, and ultimately went with this. Personally i KIND of like the blue / dark blue bands better, but i'm curious what you all think.

Still working without keyboard shortcuts, but i've made a lot of headway in it. moved some stuff around in the interface. Anytime i need like, to HOLD SHIFT or something, it's a nightmare, but the keyboard will be here soon. part of me wants to learn to work without it around constantly, but, eh.

New Cintiq Tests (2 cool doodles)

Been saving up for it for like a year, and finally pulled the trigger on it.

Drawing on it seems way better than the 22hd. I've been struggling on the 22hd for a while, things don't really go where i want them to. But mysteriously, it's like my hands are from a couple years ago on the new one. It's really weird honestly, but im not going to complain about it.

Anyway, i did 2 test doodles, and then one colored pic.
