It's that day where i copy the thumbnail folders for a page into their Final Size page document, then scale them up to fit the canvas.
Then i started lettering, but realized it'd be better to get the final panel borders in for everything first, so a couple pages are lettered, and i'm on page like 25 of getting the final panel borders in.
Not the most exciting update, but in a way it is, because we're real close to the first finished page!
I can only make it sound So exciting...

Ended up going with this one because Maskune is about the same size and shape as Volkitsu, and i just drew like 50 pages of her hooking up with charlie lol.
Not that this is terribly different, but the scale is something i haven't done before~
I like to think of Aurora as a bit of a straight edge, but maybe the Loboxin juice is ok, it's all natural after all~

Got the final 5 pages out today.
I definitely should have stopped on page 49 and gone to bed at a reasonable hour, but, now at 2:30am, the whole thing's sketched out.
Next time i'll be moving everything into the full size work doc, and then it's time for the cover.

Just a little get together behind a trashcan downtown.
I never get to draw either of these guys~ Chinchaloon is a real fun rodent, though i suppose it does have some resemblance to Pockoon. it's got way more rodent vibe though, which is always good.
And poor Kitobra and his little fail flaps also doesn't get a lot of airplay. Figure we could use some more m/m in general.

With Jonah and some unnamed Cirrantula. I don't do a lot of tied up stuff, but a spider character certainly has a good excuse!

Got 4 out today, we're out the juiciest part of the comic, and into the end. Well, there's a tiny bit more anyway~
It's funny, i don't know why i think i can do more than one of these every 90 minutes, but there's camera setup to do for each panel that needs it (most), and then i have to draw 2 quadrupeds interacting with a leggy biped. These things, they take time apparently.

Even alice can't keep it 100% together, but thankfully that's what editors are for.
Perspective, when you're REALLY close to a character, is kind of weird, but it's important for shots like panel 5.

I wasn't going to do this one, since i feel like i did it once before (though it was 1.5 years ago, with daisy and jonah), but i want to say it had more likes on it than any suggestion up to this point in the history of sketch suggestions, so i just had to.
I don't think the body cam was all it was cracked up to be, but maybe the video being entirely clouded over once ian's swimming in it...

I was asked to show an example of how cervolt's design has changed since the first draft, back when I started Passiontail Isle. Blake's new look was one of the first creatures designed, and i was going for something a bit stubbier at the time.
As time went on thouhg, i wanted him to both be a little taller than aurora, and to have more Raw Deer Energy, and that means being a bit more spindly and fancy looking.
Also, watching one piece has shown me you can have a cartoon...
