Subway train composite test

Just a quick little thing, Said the set models were done, but i remembered some adjustments i wanted to make to allow for more species to ride the train. Wanted to do a quick composite test, like with blake's place, to see how it'll feel. I like it~

The standing passenger handles now support a wider range of heights, and the big empty zone with a pad on the floor for people that need a whole chunk to themselves.

Ironically, with all this adjustment, there still isn't a great seat...

Presumably the vod slowandheady mentioned on page 05 of In Too Deep. Jenny with a mysterious guest on her stream, getting her guts blasted with deer juice.

Did an extra one today. I came up with it a couple weeks back, but hadn't had time to do it. It was either front door or back door, but i figured the effort required for this was more interesting to see~

Alright! I managed to get one pic out last night, after i said i wasn't going to draw that day due to getting my eyes dilated at the dr. It took like 5 hours for me to see stuff close to me again. Luckily, that seems to be sorted out now.

Anyway, we have charlie with the self slurp. generally i wouldn't recommend sticking something hard like that into tooth world, but he's not so big he can't just let...

Update : got my eyes dilated, sketches tomorrow

Sorry! There's been an ongoing awful eyeball thing going on, and i got a chance to see the dr and get my retinas looked at today on short notice so i took it. still can't see stuff up close, which means i can't draw until they un-dilate. So, sketches tomorrow.

Set Model Work Is Done

Alright!

Here's a quick test done with a mouse to composite the exterior into what it might look like in the comic, as well as a bunch of final renders.

It's been a ton of work, but all the set models i need for the comics are done~

Blake's house (which i've already used for a few pics) will be really useful down the road. It's the main location for the comic.

The subway train interior and exterior will also be useful, as i've done a few pics in subway cars,...

Charlie's Apartment (wip3)

Alright! This is just about done. Specifically my work today was on these band / concert posters in charlie's place. It was a fun, kind of weird exercise to do.

There's very little left to do on the models, now. A couple boxes to shove on a shelf, a small update to the subway, and then i just need to finalize the script and it's drawing time.

I wonder what kind of music it is? He dressed like a little punk rocker for halloween 2 years ago.

Charlie's Apartment (wip2)

Figured i'd be working on this over the weekend~

This has been a lot of fun to decorate~ Basically all i need now are the band posters, which should be a couple hours tops, and the set model is ready for the comic. But more than that, it's ready for pics in general. Charlie doesn't have a bedroom  set up, but this is a pretty livingroom couch to hook up on imo.

As mentioned before, Charlie's place is 4 feet tall, because he's a smaller guy. Aurora's ears drag on the ceili...

Set Update : Charlie's Apartment

This one's a little earlier than the others! It's just the one room for now though, so it doesn't need much more before being done. Charlie's got a similar income to jenny, probably has a few roommates. Unlike Jenny, though, who got a larger apartment for the taller guests she planned on having come over to film, Charlie's setup is scaled for smaller creatures. So, aurora's ears at 4" are touching the ceiling~

I love the chunky placeholder charlie, he's good~

Anyway, i'll throw so...

Real straightforward pic to color! Jonah was a little long in the sketch, and i added the tail pocket action, but beyond that it was a pretty linear process.

Looks like Jonah's squeezing into a different kind of tight space than usual!

To be honest, i'm surprised. I figured either of the other two would win, but everyone went for Jonah! Any of the three pics would have been a pleasure to do though, so I can't complain!

Set Update - Blake's House

Made a ton of progress since last time! It's just about ready. the exterior / surrounding neighborhood need some stuff, and don't worry about the trees looking goofy, they're not going to end up in the art itself. I just need those to cast some green light around.

I took some feedback on the house as it was last time, and opened up the kitchen to the living room and changed the layout of the bedroom to be less long.

I think it's really come together~

Set Update - Blake's House and Subway Train

Hey! I've been real busy on the weekends (probably should stop doing that!) getting stuff for the next comic together.

There's still a bit of work to do, but the sets are coming along!
