Rig Animation Test

Testing something out here. Spent a good number of hours on it, mostly in the nightmarish technical side of it. Still, now that i basically get what's going on, I got this together. The top half of her is intended to move of course, but this is the first animation like this i've ever done and starting off with as many bones as i did was a bit of a tall order!

So yeah, not sure if i'm gonna actually finish this or not, but after Kekitopu was kind enough to hit me up in D...

Sparcant finally got a pic! I guess it's a good thing there aren't hundreds of thousands of 3 electric ants around though~ And male cirrantula, first for that as well i think. A little web, a lot of leg, and you're good to go~

This was a lot of work, even though it only took a little longer than the previous one. Bug on Bug action is very ink-intensive!

I dunno what it is about zallabies and being worried about getting discovered, but i feel like every picture with one is that theme. Not that I'm complaining, mind you! Stealth marsupials are fun~

Calendar Weirdness

So with me having done the ☆☆ sketch suggestions on the 31st, ☆☆☆ on the 7th, ☆☆☆☆on the 14th and the poll pic last week, there actually isn't a scheduled sketch suggestion for tomorrow, the 28th.

So, to keep busy, I'm just gonna work on the comic. Figure that's a good use of time that pushes things forward in a meaningful way~

Second page of the new inks, and i'm happy with it! I was a little concerned it'd be hard to show the viscous matingplug fluid swirling around in the more watery previous stuff, but i think it worked just fine~

As expected, the translucent equipment took a bit of extra time to paint, but it's pretty cool looking!

This is probably the last WIP before it's finished. Hopefully just one more session on Ian for inks, some ink cleanup, then flats and the background and it's done!

This one took quite a long time. Usually i wouldn't put this kind of time in on a sketch, but considering there were only 3 suggestions, and 2 included zallaby, i figured i'd roll them all together.

The funny thing about in-public stealth stuff is that you have to come up with and draw a public space, then fill it with people who might notice! So i tend to shy away from these. Still, i think this is pretty fun.
