Fun to draw stoazap! Been a while. I really would recommend against asking for dgy pondolotl, the tail really is too big for it and i had to like flatten it to make this work. Lizards hook up at a sort of cockeyed angle because of it, but that doesn't work if you're a fuzzy tube
Regardless, it's a fun pic. Not a lot of electric stuff going on these days! Fun to do now and again~

Looks like someone is getting a little too messed up on the loboxin chemicals~ A little bit can't hurt, but you get too much and suddenly you're dehydrated, your sore and you're slow to respond when addressed. Also you and anyone in front of you probably need a shower~
I feel like the loboxin or toxoth chemical stuff would be fun for an animation loop at some point.

An uncommon request! There's a lot of small buddies going into big buddies, but not a lot of m/m focused stuff. I suppose it's hard to tell what's going on with the smozumi inside that hemi pocket, but whatever he's doing, his sogecko friend is having a rough time keeping it from everyone else.

Hey! Got a lot done in this section today. Once Jenny's body is done, going through and doing the heads/faces should be quicker. Still, it's starting to drag on me just how long a project like this takes. I'll need to keep it in mind, next time i get the urge to animate a whole sequence instead of a loop. An animation like this is pretty slow going when you get one crack at it per week.

Here's the highlights of what i've got so far!
I ended up going with the highest res option from the post last time. It just looks nicest, and won't be MUCH more time to do on top of the other one, so why not.
I actually had to test out a number of fonts for the dialogue. I wanted to use wildandcrazy, the font i generally use for dialogue, but at this resolution it was real gross looking, so i had to scout around for something that worked for pixel animations. The thing...

Zallaby is always fun, too! Kind of weird legs to puzzle out in a hurry, but that stuff can be smoothed out if this ever gets picked for a poll. Plus, stand-uppy-canine is also something that takes a bit of figuring out.

EDIT : Making this available to everyone a little early, as i just finished thumbnailing the comic. Came out to 15 pages, actually! A couple of them needed to be split into 2.

Hey, not a real flashy update today. I spent the past few hours fighting with aseprite, and doing multiple mockups to figure out what the right resolution to work at would be. I'm probably going to go with 220 high, the center one. 144 on the right is a common resolution you might have seen artists like mabit work at. Old consoles were often 240ish, but there's no real standard for 'low res pixel animations'.

So i'm trying to figure out the egg situation. At the moment, everyone lays the most reasonable egg for the type of creature they are. So no accidentally way too big eggs, and no like, egg that's layable that then grows into a universal size and shape. And the mammally things just get a plain looking bird-ish egg.
