Hey! So, power was out for a bit, and internet was out for like 4 days.

But that gave me plenty of time to work on that model of Coconut Springs! Even just having a reference for the setting is really helpful, and it leads me to go for more interesting perspective on the characters as well.

Definitely a fun workflow~

Also there's a double narration box on 15-16, i split that page into 2 pages and missed that one. I'll fix it later~

I used to avoid drawing vaporeon, for a long time. Getting the neck frill looking good was a nightmare, a curved hemispher-ish surface, with curves at the edge? Nightmare.

Apparently at some point I got over that, though, and I'm certainly pleased about it. I love vaporeon, best g1 eeveebuddy. maybe second or third best out of them, if you ask me...

Hey! So with all the 3d work i did yesterday, i figured i'd take a crack at the logo in 3d.

It was like 20 minutes worth of initial adjusting, and then the worlds worst rabbit hole as i learned how to actually export a render and have it not be totally fucked up.

It was a disaster! And ultimately i just let CSP do the white outline for me, because i couldn't get blender to do it with its built in stuff in a way that wasn't a disaster. All the text had to be outlined, wh...

WIP : Haven CH.02 Room Fly-by

Wow these gifs are taking a VERY long time to upload! They're like 10 to 50mb gifs, so they might take a bit!

I spent all day on this, basically, working from my mockup you saw earlier.

I'll be using this model for any tricky shots of the room Rachel is leading everyone into.

There was absolutely no reason to model the inside or contents of the fridge, or the bathroom for that matter, but it's good practice!

I did everything in blender this time.

Sorry i was missing yesterday, car needed some emergency wrenching and i was stuck at the mechanics most of the day.

However, after that i spent the rest of my day in my wrist braces and i feel like a million bucks today, so i'm going to make it a habit to do that~

WIP : some 3d assets

Hey! After modeling the potion for the pic earlier today i figured i'd take a shot at rachel's shades and hat. I'm not sure if i'll end up using them much, but having these on hand could definitely save some time when it comes to inking later.

also for people who actually know some 3d shit, sorry about the shades. I can't subdivide-modifier them, because the center piece, and the arms are separate cubes and they like, melt away from where they connect if i do.

I had to do a bit of work on the sketch. Originally the ball was too big to be the small version, but too small to be the large, throw-state size? so i redid that bit, and think it came out pretty solid~

Sketch Poll 45 Results!

Hey! Looks like spicy lizard was the most popular choice~

Personally I was pulling for the Cute Tube, but i can't say no to some good old fashioned char-love.

Also! I spent a while thursday night making this! It was a lot of work, surprisingly, but it looks a lot nicer than the default graph + sparkle brush I've been using for a couple years.

WIP : Haven CH.02 - pages 05-10

I worked a tiny bit faster this time, but i was still averaging 50 minutes per page. 10 of that is the lettering, though, so it's not that bad~ Still i wish i could work a little looser than this for the thumbnails.

Anyway! Rachel gets the donkey filling, and then is propositioned by everyone's favorite fishdog.

WIP : map of coconut springs / secret room

Hey! I was looking around for the little map i jotted up the other day of the place chapter 2 takes place in, and couldn't find it!

So, i spent a couple hours on this. TBH i'd like to work it in as the establishing shot somewhere in the comic, but that'll be for later. Being able to see the place from afar once would be nice~

Also i just learned about Gradient Maps. It's a feature that lets you replace brightness to a color gradient, so you can turn a grayscale image into a weirdly cool colored one.

WIP : Onto You (path) - P1-4 / 25

Alright! So, here are the first thumbnails of my biggest client project right now, Onto You (which i've been calling Gay Rats until now).

It's set in SPMD, I believe, with a team near Noe Town. The team leader has some official business to attend to, giving the other two team members, Trip, the pikachu, and Torch, the raichu, the base to themselves. Trip decides today's the day to proposition Torch, and gay shenanigans ensue~

And ANOTHER client project.

Blonde yinglet Veela gets dragged to a brothel run by eevee evolutions, and gets 'the full course'. She hooks up with all of them (minus sylveon, who runs the place, of course).

I actually had to split both the first, and second pages, because there was just too much text and everything was insanely cramped. I need to come up with a character limit per page, so that i can identify this during the script writing process.

4 hour Sketch Session for Stormychu.

Froslass is neat! I had to perform surgery on the pokepark model, to get its textures working, so i could make a reference file, and that was kind of fun. I like the weird floaty hands.

I was asked specifically to avoid showing the genitals in this image, so they're all obscured. Still, if you can't see them, then clearly the penetration is working as intended, yeah?

Well! Here we are!

My wrist wasn't as bad as i expected after yesterday, and i couldn't wait to get to drawing haven 2, so, this was my day today.

I'll touch up the cover a little bit and post it publicly soon, alongside start with a kiss, to hopefully catch some peoples' interest!

Yo, my friend showed me the hot springs / sauna area in MHW and i was like yo,

This was actually a horrible mistake, it took me like 5 hours. From perspective issues on the like, looking-down camera angle vs their legs, to getting references of the location, to the amount of linework lol. I also figured out that new hot tech of using a 3d layer to make the perspective rulers, so that'll help with shit going forward.

I couldn't wait until next week to get this draft wrapped up, so, who needs a day off, right?

All in all, while the like, go-into-uterus stuff and the lesser size difference are a little wackier than I do in my personal work, it was a lot of fun to make a battle, and in that context this seems fine to me.

Real thankful to fyoshi for commissioning this project. It's gonna be rendered like Down By The River and Better Than Going ; my sketch-comic render, to save some time, but it'll...

Alright! So, it turns out the text is kind of readable at this size, so some of the panels have their text.

But, most of them don't because i only realized it later.

Basically...

5) goodra sits down and uses bide, slamming pikachu against her cervix. Pikachu retaliates with an electric attack from within, but due to type effectiveness, all it does is stimulate goodra

WIP : Start With A Kiss - Cover (Mouse Prequel)

Hey! So i was sitting around after work tonight going 'you know, i should make the cover for mouse prequel...'

So I did. Not a lot of people on fa/ib/twitter clicked into my Thumbnail Release a couple of days ago, and I get why. It's a gray square, with a bunch of tiny white squares on it. A couple people made it in there, but it's pretty limp advertisement for this project.

More thumbnailing! This one's a shorty, just 3 pages, and they're all pretty packed! Popstar trio Milotic, Vaporeon and Primarina (minus their costumes for this draft, to save time) finish up a show, and invite the crowd to come on stage for the After Party.

And then everybody fucks.

Not the most story driven thing, but at the end of the day you have a big eel, a dogfish and a seal getting sticky and that's what's really important <3
