So this was fun. This started out as a 6 hour sketch session, but we expanded it into a short comic. I've spent basically all day on it for the past 3 days, and spent 32 hours in that time, on the clock working on it.

I mentioned before there were a ton of ideas i had written down for the previous session, and i was given the opportunity to basically knock the rest of those ideas out.

In this second page we've got a test to determine exactly how big a load they can swallow at once. Snivy's got this covered, apparently, piplup's working some strange bird gizzard action, but poor pikachu had to fall back on big cheeks....

Here's one of those sjvipery commissions where i have to do a bunch of different variations on it. With the current style it's actually a lot harder to do, since everything is actually translucent, the way i'm coloring things. You can't easily just hard color over a flat color with the new stuff in its own folder, so organizationally this was a small nightmare.
Came out pretty good though!

Went through a number of adjustments on the color of the shading before ultimately going with the orange, to bring out the ninetales / flesh tone. If i was a bit stronger the whole picture would be blue gray, but i feel like it's better to have her be immediately recognizable by vague shape and color alone, than to be adventurous and risk ruining the picture, ha~
