My plan was to have pic suggestions up yesterday, and do them on friday, to make room at the end of the month, but it looks like a likely multi-day power outage is coming my way once again, so i wanted to get the first of the 2 holiday pics up for you guys, before all that.

The ridiculous scale of daisy's house is a little less clear than i'd have liked, but the garage style door pulls a lot of weight~

Also doing the backgrounds all by hand, vs the 3d models from the previous comics definitely take some time, but they still look nice and allow for some intentionally impossible perspective work like in the first panel, so every process has it's pros and cons.

This portion of the electric level is ready to roll! The intermittent electrical hazard, as well as the fire-activated platforms are together. I love the sound the platform makes when it turns on.

I was pretty shocked, honestly!

I thought the aurora / blake pic was definitely going to win, but it seems like the people had other plans.

Well, time to laboriously render two translucent wet ribbons coiling around one another for hours lol.

Generally i'd say i'd do it on Friday, since tomorrow's Thanksgiving, but i'm doing family stuff later, so I've got time.

Just barely got this together for this week's game post! One of the first 4 levels you can choose from is a big energy hive, the boss of which is, predictably, a bee! Though, i suppose the Hives are visually based on hornet nests, don't worry about that~

As always i'm trying a lot of stuff for bg painting. I like how this one came out,, it's a little soft~

The abdominal bulge didn't really come across as clear as i wanted once his wing flap got in the picture, but know that all of that below that little crease isn't normally there! Juiced.

I waffle back and forth on whether the pink monochrome is better for internals like this, or if fake full light is better. I kind of like the implication that it's dark in there this gives, but it might hurt readability for some.

I was tasked with a wrigglish in the wrong place, and while looking over all the buddies and wondering who was getting one stuffed where, this seldom-used creature came to mind. Generally her abdomen is filled with honey, but it appears it's all been emptied out and replaced with a ton of slippery friends and a lot of tap water?

Weird to do, but it's a bizarre feeling unlike anything else, for sure.
