Ah… took me so long to work on this…

Finished the body days ago… but the outfit itself was a lot of pain to do… The patterns was really annoying, especially the flowers on her dress, with the original art being so small it was very hard to get a good idea on how it looks… took me forever just doing those patterns…

Also was a little clueless on the background, after trying a few times...

So currently want to focus on finishing the sketches I made in the past 2 weeks~ First up is this Belfast drawing~

Somehow I feel a little rusty when colouring her belly area, I hope it looks okay 030

Comparing this with the Belfast drawing last year, I am so happy I actually did her justice this time around, since the drawing from last year is really terrible…

Now gonna proceed and work on her outfit~~

Update - Mum's situation

Just want to share this good news~

So a little recap, basically the doctor say there is a possibility on doing a Minimally invasive surgery on mum, which will lower the risk of the operation a lot. And luckily in the end they use this technique and operated on her for 3 hours.

After resting for 2 days in hospital, she is allow to leave the hospital and come home on the 3rd day’s evening, and now is back home~

We are still waiting for the full report, and also a 2 weeks wai...

Update - Mum's surgery

So, in about 12 hours from now, my mum will have her surgery.

For those of you guys who doesn’t know what happened: 

Basically, around 3 weeks ago I found out my mum actually have some kind of womb cancer, she refuse to tell me much about it until dad took me 2 weeks ago in person. She went into hospital earlier today, and will proceed to her surgery tomorrow.

Days ago, dad told me more info about it after I ask him why ...

Decided to give this drawing some kind of yellowy orangey sunlight overlay, since she is the queen of Babylon, I think this will help give the drawing more Babylon feel with that gold tint~

Been working on her lately.. it was super fun drawing her legs, so want to prpr her legs xD

I decided to add an alternative version for her hair, to cover her breast so I can post this drawing on my normal twitter account lol

Sorry for lack of update recently… been struggling on making new sketches, end up scrapping quite a few sketches past few days… also somehow been suffering from really bad headache… Gonna get some pills now… Orz

As usual, colouring the girl isn’t hard at all, took a few tries to get her hair and eye colour looking right, but the most time consuming is her kimono… Being a perfectionist, when there is just small error I redraw the whole part etc....
