I will draw him and I can't be stopped.

The line art of this is turning out to be the best I've ever created. I've been studying on a couple of my favourite artists, Oouna and Pacelic, which has been time well spent. 

You will see the results very soon and I hope you like it!

Pose ideas for commission

Selection of poses for a commission from e_zoid of his reptile character. Did these very fast during Confuzzled and really enjoyed the freedom that traditional work gives having not touched pencil and page for nearly 2 years. 

One of these poses will be the finished piece! Go follow e-zoid if you aren't doing so, he was truly a delight to spend time with during the convention!

Hence my take on this pair 'Dave and Pauline', you know, just your average couple, probably found each other down the pub... not adverse to letting it hang out a bit loose...

Back from Confuzzled 2022! This is a traditional pencil sketch completed at con for Sigma.

As I didn't have a scanner, I had to tidy this as best I could via a photo (glad I took the good camera)!

I haven't drawn a character traditionally for years so I was rather surprise and very happy this one turned out great. Good fun to do and great character to get back into things!

Pissed off Percheron sculpt

The first little model I ever made, he's years old now and was something of a test piece when it came to the original sculpt. I made him in a clay that was too soft so he's lacking a bit of refinement but what he lacks he makes up for in his swim pants, which are way too small, all bunched up in there!

I'm now at a stage of testing out resins and finishes - mainly thinking that i'll give them an airbrush finish. Still not long until Confuzzled, I best get to making a small army of these...

Werewolf skull sculpture

This piece is how I imagine a werewolf's skull to be. Cranium is basically human anatomy it was really fun trying to create a set of of wolf teeth and moveable jaw. Done in clay and apoxy. It's rough, but my idea was to create something desk worthy, in this case a curiousity an ornament. I've been working on this idea for over a year, sculptures take hours of my time but all in the hope to create a saleable product, learning something in the process and have fun.

Mage horse ref - WIP

Been along time since i touched on this one, now i think I have the correct layout.

He's a pegasus, but was struck with a bolt of transformative magic that burnt away his wings and rendered a side of his face and his tail reptilian. He wears a smaller set of prosthetic wings in their place. All down his back, from face to tail I imagined that the magic to have changed his fur to scales, I'm thinking blue... might be a good contrast...?
