Sharing with you the WIPs for this shot. 🍑 This time with all the sketching phases in the same post! Since this one doesn't have a lot of crazy movements I was able to work on everything faster than usual. The reference we shot helped me a ton to block out the movements very fast too!

There are a lot of in-betweens I'd rather do directly on Blender since its interpolator will help me a lot due to the nature of the movements.

Here's an update on our good boy Kim receiving what he was promised softly and deeply.

I'm trying a new process with these animations. Instead of working on the blocking first and keys second, I'm working on both in parallel, jumping back and forth between them. This helps me better visualize the final movement and look. Having a good reference helped a lot to do this faster. Filmed myself tying Emi's hands a few times and combined the two best ones to get what you are seeing on the screen. Because of that no 3D animation was necessary.
