1.13 Breakdowns, Variations & Blocking

Hello everyone! =3 Hope you are doing great!
First of all, we wanted to apologize for not uploading any posts this week yet. We have been dealing with a lot of power outages lately in our block, which have delayed us a bit this week. We are even posting this with the last battery reserve of our laptop haha. ⚡️ We really hope things get back to normal next week but in the meantime we have already thought of ways to sort things out in case we keep having problems.
That said, progress has not been halted completely. As you can see we have completed the blocking and breakdowns for our deepthroat shot. And we have a little extra too!
We were thinking of ways to add variations to this loop and thought that it would look good to have our dear Kim service not only the bull top but the other ones as well, each one with their own style in using the kitty's maw ;3
Kahl was actually working on the breakdowns for them when the power went out but managed to finish the key drawings and blocking so you can see how it's going so far. The idea is to show these shots as a progression of how Kim is servicing the guests at the party finishing with the wolf who will be the lucky one to cum in his maw in the next couple shots. 💦

2024-06-25 08:29:53 +0000 UTCWell, unless you are interested in practicing your 3D modeling skills, I'd advise downloading a rigged character. There are lots of free options out there that can do the job. Something like this would suffice: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-character-meshes-rigged-base-1382197 You can also make a character with primitives like spheres, boxes and cylinders and make a quick rig with them. But there are so many free rigged characters for Blender (just put these last 5 words on Google and you'll find a lot of good resources) that I'd go with them first and then see how it suits your process. In the case of these shots, for example, we bought some base meshes from Blendermarket.com, modified them and used a plugin named Auto-Rig Pro to rig them quickly. This was mostly to save us some time for drawing but any humanoid rig can help if you use your imagination.

When dealing with a general shots with lots of moving parts we start with a rough 3D animation in order to get a preview of the general rhythm, perspective of forms and movement. After that we take the main poses (key poses) of that animation and draw on top of them. We take special care of these drawing since they will influence the rest of the frames. After this it's mostly back and forth between 2D and 3D polishing each as the process dictates. Sometimes it's more convenient to solve the breakdowns and in-betweens in the 2D drawings directly and sometimes we go back to 3D to solve them there and come back with a more solid base. There are exceptions, like 1.7 in which there was no 3D used but there was still a 2D blocking using spheres and cubes drawn and move around for the same purposes before going to the final key drawings. This help us make sure that the drawing serve the movement of the whole shot from the very start.

Lost hundreds of dollars worth of food because of how long it took for the power to come back on (23 days).
