I think we are on the last lap with the renders for the update. Only 1-2 weeks and it should be done. So that is good news. I gotta say the last two weeks I was blessed with "bad" weather. It wasn't hot at all which made rendering much more enjoyable.

Guys, we will delay the weekly talk to next week. I am not stuck in the good fun purgatory like Blackmore but in the hell that is called Deutsche Bahn (the german train system - the worst in europe...maybe in the world).
The Tara Training sidequest is completely rendered and a fun bad ending has also been added.

This week just flew by. I had a rough time focussing on just one main thing and was pretty much trying out everything at once. Shiny object syndrome becomes a thing again, since I have so many ideas for femdom/futadom themed games. But I wanted to go Shadow over Blackmore only for a while so I am trying to restrain myself and doing random artwork right now to further improve my render skills...and creating mistresses and their outfits for fun.

Back in the render grind and it feels good to be back at my normal render engine. It feels so nice when everything looks just better and you have more options. The lights, the reflections, characters and so on!
I was thinking: I have said that the next update will be The Farm sidequest, Tara sidequest and the day ending scenes...but I might add one more and here is why:

I am back in the render treadmill working on Shadow over Blackmore side quest update plus finishing the last day 4 scene... knock knock. But I am still not 100% sure on how to properly implement the skills so that they are useful and fun in the game.

Not the best week. I had trouble installing the old visual novel maker engine on the new pc and making it recognize the mantis application. I don't know why. With RenPy it was no problem when I ported Shadow over Blackmore over to the new device. Here with Mantis it took quite a while and honestly...I don't know how it suddenly worked, lol. It was just after a day of trying and a few restarts that it finally appeared.

...I am finally done with all the postwork production. This took way longer than expected just because of the fact that I didn't have the old photoshop settings anymore for the color grading and the comic look. So I had to search and reinstall it and then...ah, I spare you the painful details because this just sounds like more whining again on how awful the old school rendering experience was.
...god all the renders for the femdom city mantis update are finally done. That means just the postwork on the renders is missing and then I can dismiss my old laptop for a long while. That thing crashed so often during rendering I lost count. And it constantly asked for Windows updates, even though I already had them.

I said last week it is going to be about 350 renders for the fcity story wrap up...well...as always...it is going to be more. Like 450. I wanted to do 250 at the start lol but I can't seem to do small updates anymore. Most of the Eva final is still missing. So it is going to be another big update instead of a smaller one and it is not dropping in february but in march.

...it was an ok productive week, I've spent all the time on Femdom City. I wanted to do 250 renders overall for the update but it is going to be about 350, I think. It always takes a bit more to finish the endings, it wouldn't make sense that the story endings are shorter than for example the prison ending...so Beatrix, Eva and the futa army get the scenes they deserve :).
Hopefully 100 more renders this week and we can wrap it up and i can start with postwork production and implementat...
