Rigging for boar is complete.
I've come up with an interesting action structure (RIG) here, so I'd like to introduce it to you.
I made mouth of this boar larger than previous two bears, but as a result, a certain problem became more noticeable.
When corners of mouth were raised, gums were completely visible, creating even larger gaps.
To avoid this problem, I created a RIG that moves gums to match corners of mouth.
First image shows natural expression,
image two shows state with corners of mouth simply raised,
image three shows state with gums moved to match corners of mouth.
Third image looks more natural than second.
Gums are normally fixed to skull and lower jaw, so this kind of movement is impossible, but I prioritized appearance over reality.

All retopology has been completed for the new boar character. From there, the AO rig was scaled down and fine-tuned before being rigged.
The image is a screenshot of the character in a relaxed standing pose, but because I've only used automatic weight painting and haven't made any fine adjustments yet, the deformation of various parts is still strange.
I also want to rework the rigging mechanisms for the deltoid, trapezius, and sternocleidomastoid muscles, which had been deforming incorrectly until now, so I plan to spend a little more time on the rigging work.
After rigging, I'll have to do tasks such as weight painting, baking normal maps, and registering shape keys.
Creating a new character does take time, after all.

I just posted the link for the October rewards.
Note that starting this month, the reward links are now folders instead of files.
This will allow for easier delivery when additional rewards are available.
I'd like to add a few more scenes to the end of the October animation, but due to the production costs of animation, I'm thinking of making it a manga format.
Please wait for an announcement when it's complete.

The high-poly sculpt is complete, and I'm currently working on retopology.
However, it doesn't look like I'll be able to finish it in time for the October animation, so I'll continue working on AO and GENN animations in October.

I adjusted the overall silhouette, including the boar's face, and then placed the fur temporarily.
I adjusted the overall silhouette, including the boar's face, and then placed the fur temporarily.
The neck has been shortened from the original AO model, reducing the overall scale.
Also, to make the lower body appear larger, the waist has been enlarged and the base of the legs has been moved outwards.
However, when you compare the three figures side by side, they don't look all that different lol
Compared to the image illustration, the face seems a little big. I'll decide the size as I proceed with the modeling.
The entire body uses high polygon AO, so the muscle edges are sharp. We will now smooth these out and create a more fatty body shape.
The penis and tail are unnaturally straight, but it's preferable to make them straight at the modeling stage because you can bend them later after adding bones.
When I created the AO, I modeled it with an upward curve, but I had trouble with rigging and the shape keys for the foreskin.
The fur is temporary, so I will be adjusting the shape from now on.
I have not yet decided whether to use all 3D polygons, or to use plate polygons in combination.
However, plate polygons have the advantage of being lightweight and easy to place all over the body.
A recent Blender update made it possible to mix normal maps using geometry nodes. Depending on how agile this is, I plan to use plate polygons.
On the other hand, I do not plan to use a fur shader. The reason is that it is difficult to control everything myself, including the final material.
By the way, this high polygon is divided as shown in the image. This makes it easier to balance each part and maintain polygon density.
Blender has a limit on the number of polygons an object can have (of course, this depends on the power of your PC). Dividing it up like this and refining the design is the trick to working smoothly.
Finally, the number of polygons is reduced by decimating after combining with Boolean, but this puts a high load on the PC and can cause it to freeze. It's a daunting task (but I don't use ZBrush because it's expensive).

I've begun work on a boar character. I'll start with sculpting using existing high-polygons (Ao's high-polygon).
From there, I'll proceed with retopology, rigging, and texturing.
Boar in the image is still a rough outline, but the final character will have a lot of fur.
In my experience working on an existing character, I felt that texturing was more efficient after rigging, since there was a possibility of retopology corrections being made after rigging. However, if you're only painting a rough base color, it's a good idea to do it after rigging, as you can see the finished image earlier.
For the time being, we will continue to work on it until the end of September, but since we also need to create new stages, it may not be possible to complete the animation in time for October. In that case, we have prepared animation scenarios for Ao and Genn.
I'll keep you updated on my progress here.

I finished rendering everything the other day, and I'm now working on producing the SFX.
I use software called Cubase to mix the sound effects and voices, and the image shows the operation screen.
It's rare to find the sound effects I want on the internet, so this software is invaluable for processing sound sources myself.
This software has so many functions that I still don't understand it all, but if I put my mind to it, I could even make music.
I hope to eventually be able to create my own music and create short videos to go with it.

All keyframe work for September animation has been completed.
Also, starting this month, I've introduced a new fluid simulation. This add-on is designed for small- to medium-scale fluid simulations and offers lightweight preview functionality (though it's a bit pricey).
Attached file is a sample animation of the fluid simulation. Compared to last month's animations, you can see that the emission is more complex and deforms.
I'm still getting used to the controls, and I'm not able to express the stalling of the fluid in the latter half of the emission; this needs improvement. Also, I plan to use the previous spline fluid rendering method for body sweat.
Thanks to your support, I'm able to continue introducing high-performance add-ons like this. I'm truly grateful.

Thank you for vote on next create character.
Next character has been decided to be boar.
I tried to sketch a rough illustration of the character I wanted to create.
I wonder how well I can recreate it?
Appearance may change.

I'm late again this month. Originally, it was planned to be a 3-minute animation, but before we knew it, it had become 5 minutes.
Download link will be sent via DM at the end of August or early September. This is available to those with payment history in August.
Please wait a little longer.
Attached animation is a simple rendering for social media promotion, have fun~.

It took longer than expected, but I've finished inputting half of the animation keyframes. I've also roughly decided on the pose for the second half.
I also found out that I can render with solid shading, so I tried rendering a part of it. This method renders extremely quickly, so it's very useful for checking. There are still many functions of Blender that I don't know about, so I need to study every day.
