Introducing Dungeondraft Environments (BIOMES)

Hello folks!

It's been a minute, but I've been working on one of the most significant updates for my Dungeondraft assets, with a goal to take mapmaking in the software to the next level. 20 New Character Tokens + 200 Variations!

The second update of today is that I've finally finished the character tokens I was working on. I've been working together with Edwin to get him to create these tokens using my painting techniques in Photoshop so that we get similar results. Hopefully, this will mean that we can start releasing them on a steady basis again because I do really love these designs and would love to have one for each creature type featured in the Monster Manual.

Crosshead Focus (post-Crossland)

The goal of Crossland, the project I launched this month with a couple of artists, is to take some of the weight of creating content of my shoulders and clear up some room to refocus. What my vision was to basically clear space and focus a lot more on building assets, cutting down the time of the mapmaking part. Working with the Crossland team means we get to build those massive maps and worlds I always wanted to but didn't have the time for.

I just finished another update on the Death & Desert pack, it features one of my favorite updates (something I plan on updating more in the future) and that is layered & colorable patterns, including colorable walls. Update 1: Death & Desert + Dungeondraft Fixed

For the past month, I've been getting some messages about the new update on Dungeondraft not being able to load my asset packs. Now what seemed like a simple error came with some more issues than I had taken into account and it took me a bit longer to fix them. (Packing the files in the new version apparently made them unusable to older versions, for people who don't update their software, so that was a no-go).

Update 2: Animation - Foundry & Free Content!

One of my biggest projects this month was a return to animation. The animated ships I made some time ago, were a first trial of figuring out how to add simple animations to my naval battlemaps to bring them to life. Fey Campsite & Seasons v0.9

Update 7: The Bakery [20x20]

A small little map I made as an experiment for my city layout design. It sort of lines up with the bottom of the Inn/Tavern so you can actually expand it by placing it underneath. The lineup doesn't work perfectly as you might notice, but it should really do the trick.

UPDATE 6: City Tavern-Inn Battlemap [28x30]

I also made a 4 level city tavern-inn that has a couple of hidden rooms and trapdoors to take you from one place to the next. It is perfect for an assassin or thief guild, with a little meeting space all the way at the top. 

There is even a stable located at the bottom floor, separate from the main building. The storage room grants access to the bedroom right above it (where you will find the hidden hatch).
