The hair styles of Mordred (2nd attempt)

Continuing my exploration of Mordred's new hair styles.

I've always believe hair styles is one of the key important elements in conveying the character's personality so I tried to put as much effort as I could to make them look distinctive.

This time I added a few small accessories to add a little extra flavor to the look.

"Juice tastes better in birthday suit" is what Mordred's trying to convey.

And drink confidently regardless of being looked at :)

I decided to experiment by not making the skin too darker and instead just showed tanned line mostly in the shadows, see what it's like.

July 2024 rewards preview

Sorry for the wait

After a few on and off months due to personal issues, I'm bringing things back on track.Here's the preview of July 2024 rewards.

Even though it's a summer artwork, this time I feel like stepping away from the beach and do something more educational with Mordred.

I imagined her studying during the summer, dressed casually in her underwear, surrounded by junk food.

Mordred at the finish line + variations

I finally got around to finish this piece.

It was fun portraying Mordred as a runner and then adding a little bit of my own spin on it.

I'm happy which what has been done for now but in the near future, I might add more extra details after gaining more understanding on track and field outfits and athlete back muscles.

In case you need an explaination (except for the last one which is pure service) for the variations, I'd say Mordred was not fond of the summer heat and had to...

Mordred fixing her swimsuit

"Fixing" can mean either "tightening" or "loosening". I will leave it to your interpretation.

I don't think I was able to draw the pose perfectly , but went with it anyway as it was the most suitable pose that indirectly show Mordred flexing when fixing her bikini strings.

Also, I leaned a bit more towards the sexy , curvy vibe rather than a youthful one which is why all the variations are black swimsuits.

[Nude] Hell Mordred

One of the early piece that was speicial to me as it was a a rather unique combination between Mordred and Helltaker design.
I can't say enough of how much I enjoyed Helltake's character designs that inspired to create the fan art.

The hair styles of Mordred + variations

Besides Mordred fun and sexy drawing, experimenting with hairstyles is my next favorite thing
It's fascinating how different the character can transform with just small changes to their hair.

I deliberately made bigger changes so that it would be more fun for me to draw and hopefully more interesting for you to see.
I'm starting with 4 styles but my goal is to fill at least 2 pages of Mordred's hair style variations and present them in the new Mo-collection volume.

Mordred vs ramen

This is one of the new, possibly strange idea that I wanted to show you.

Mordred's journey of discovering ramen illustrated in 3 stages :

• First stage: Messing it up, one way or another, which lessens the enjoyment of the dish

• Second stage: Understanding of the flavor and faling in love with it

• Third stage: Archiving maximum satisfaction, generating such force that blows the outfit into pieces

I apologize for the delay, it has been pretty tough dealing with health issue last month.

It was a good change to portray Mordred posing closer to a model than what I usually do.

Although back lightning is not my strong point, I also did enjoy setting everything up to give everything a certain beauty mood.

Here's the preview of March 2024 rewards.

When coming across a photo of a model putting on her high heels in front of an open window, I used it as a base idea to set up this scene featuring Mordred.

I think Mordred's chunky boots and the red lingerie create a prretty nice contrast in an image, similar to having her swing her Clarent in undies, but more lighjt-hearted.

I've been dealing with a pretty bad fever since early May.

Although the fever has subsided and I'm slowly recovering, I'm still not fully functional when it comes to drawing.

[Nude] Fur jacket Mordred

This is nude variation of Mo-Collection 3's cover art.

It is one of the pieces that I spent a good amount of time on and was happy with the final result.

I recall the trial-and-error process of developing a visual hook for the book. Surprisingly, the fur coat and gauntlet details turned out quite well

My goal was not only to create sexy yet powerful appearance that fits Mordred's image, but also to capture the attention of whoever comes across the thumbnail of the image.

Stretching with Mordred set + variations

This is the complete set from the previous post, of Mordred in sport undies.

I made many poses but decided to finish the set with these 3.

I didn't plan for the onepiece swimsuit variation but because the poses give a pretty nice view of the both sides of Mordred body, might as well try this specific design where the sides are exposed.

I'd like to know which one is your preference among these :)

[W.I.P] Stretching with Mordred + variation

My main goal is to show off Mordred's healthy and sexy physique, focusing on her abdominal muscles without overemphasizing other muscles.

And I spent a rather silly amount of time doing all the little tweaking to archive the ideal balance~

I apologize for the delay. There was quite a lot of trial and error on making this one, it ended up taking me much longer than expected.

Here's the preview of February 2024 rewards.

I'm really sorry for the delay on this one. I've been dealing with some health issues that have slowed down my drawing process. However, I've been putting in extra effort to ensure that the final piece meets the quality standards I strive for.

Despite that, I had some creative fun doing this one.

Revisited this piece for a nude version as I think it could be one of those scenario when you just don't know how to react to what you're seeing.

To Mordred, it could just have been just hot and humid last night :)

*There are other sexy varaiations in which Mordred are in sexy lingerie (June 2023 rewards) but I chose these to create nude variations for.

I think these turn out most natural when Mordred goes topless.

Cat inspection with Mordred + variation

Mordred has an interest in cats, albeit in her own unique way

I think the idea of having Mordred being curious about the gender of the cat and goes all the way to see whether it's a boy or girl cat demonstrates her personality pretty well. 

When I've gotten better at drawing cat, I will have these two together in other scenarios.

Mordred in elegant black

My recent attempt to add a new design to my Mordred's dress collection. 

This time with a clean and rather simple black dress with some red satin shines on it.

Although the dress is as simple as it can get,  I sprinked in some slight incoherent yet edgy accessories to express more of Mordred's personalities

I'd like to start 2024 with this artwork, featuring Mordred blowing a kiss to welcome you to the new year as it  seems just appropriate :) 

Even though 2023 was such a busy year, full of ups and downs, and I hardly had time to reflect on what had happened because things were still moving at such a rapid pace, your support always means a lot to me.

Mo-Collection 4 & Comiket 103

It's been really busy in the past couple weeks so I want to give a quick update on a few things.

Although I barely made it in time for printing, a new volume of Mo-Collection series "Mo-Collection 4" is coming out in Comiket 103 tomorrow.

Along with the book itself is Mo-Collection Extra vol 2 if you chose to go with the set.  Similar to the first Extra volume,  it includes sexy and nude variations of selected works, and a few bonus illustrations.

I was pretty excited for the nude variations of this one because in the original set rewards, I didn't get to draw Mordred in her hotpants. And now I do.

There are a variety of outfits from the set rewards but these are the ones I personally like most.

Even in nude, the remaining clothing still look pretty cool in my opinion.
