Raw, uncut video: Preparing for timelapse on part 44
We're idiots. We're a bunch of idiots. And this is why we don't have the audio on the main videos. Because we talk about stupid things.

This pile of parcels is heading out to the hands of the postmen on Monday!
The $15+ tier Patrons will receive letters including a photos of the supported Project Ls with a signed and personalized message from me.
The $50+ tier Patrons will receive all that and a big, limited high-quality poster – signed and numbered, of course!
Hey you. You all supporting Project L. You all of my lovely Patrons.
Thanks to you, we're going to London!
After finding some wonderful offers, we managed to arrange our schedules and now the flights have been booked - although our accommodation will still be a hostel instead of the complete privacy of a hotel room.
We'll have to plan our route in central London to find the best places to shoot at. Although I'm somewhat at home in London, I welcome all suggestions t...

I'm very slow in editing the videos. Even though my photos are usually done within a couple of days, the video editing process is something that takes its time.
I must find new ways to keep the videos more interesting to me, as the editor, and to you, as the audience.
If you've got suggestions, ask ahead!

The video's here! This time I combined the forces of the Sony's action camera's video and timelapse with my Canon 1DX's stills and its video.
It's okay, I guess, but it's just somewhat horrible to see how much better 1DX's video looks compared to Sony's.
I might have to do a longer, video-based Project L sometimes later. Perhaps I could borrow proper video equipment, like C100 Mk2 from Canon.

We tried to capture some timelapse video from the building phase of the gingerbread house, but I haven't yet looked into that. Pictured here our ingenious bipod for the action camera... a sparkling wine glass with some gaffer's tape. It was the perfect height.
Look at the bokeh! (you know, that out-of-focus area) Just look at it! It's so smooth and creamy. It's wonderful. And that's all thanks to my new lens, Canon's 35mm f/1.4L II!
Ahh.
But here's another work in progress photo from the 44th part's behind the scenes. More to follow!

This project was shot in a hurry so that we could get it out before Christmas, and I'm afraid that it shows a little in the project and its lack of work in progress photos.
Well, wait for the behind the scenes - there'll be sure to be those patron-only images beforehand!
And also, of course: merry Christmas, happy holidays...

The behind the scenes are here, after suffering through an influenza and a stomach flu. At the same time.
Oh well, now's not the time to be sad, now's the time to check out the behind the scenes with its video!

The photos are almost out and the video is almost done editing! Woohoo!
Almost done editing the behind the scenes photos. Almost. But not quite yet. And there's that video to edit, too.

It's live!
Man, sometimes it's really, really hard to live in Finland. I mean, the country's great and so are the social benefits, good pay and the free press, but the so called "winter" is awful. No snow, but plain and so very depressing darkness everywhere.
We with what we've got, but it's not easy, not by any standard...

Helsinki's Christmas lights are quite boring – at least those nearby of Kamppi's shopping centre. Henceforth we didn't really shoot that much around there, 'twas simply so boring.
I'm aiming to release the project later today, so stay tuned!
More work in progress with some Christmas colours!
Part 43 has been shot, and all what's left is to edit the photos with a newly calibrated monitor.
Unlike we've hoped, the Finnish weather hasn't still turned into snowfall, but is filled with the darkest of nights with strong winds and some really, really annoying rain. And because we're silly, we went out. At night.
Still editing! Work in progress!
High-quality prints for the patrons that provide $50 per project are here! They're huge and the quality is awesome. It was well worth paying for better prints on a high-quality photo paper.
Now all that's left to do is get the model's signature and find a proper housing for the other two prints to arrive intact.
This is why I edit my videos - most of them are just of my or the model's feet, as I'm previewing the photos from the screen of the camera.
But I promised, so here it is - uncut video from the 42nd part.
I'm still waiting for the 41st and 42nd parts' photos to arrive in mail, so please be patient!
For the $50 tier patrons, I'm still looking for a quality provider for posters. I've been procrastinating way too much lately.

Finally. Here. Go look at the photos. And if possible, enjoy them. I'm just feeling so, so very lazy today. And lately.

...is right here! Rejoice!
I finally got my lazy ass to edit the video. I don't really think that I'm that good of a videographer nor editor, but I think that including more than the most interesting parts is what people want to see – true feelings, not the plastic, short ones.
The behind the scenes are coming, worry not! It's just that we've been playing an awful lot of DotA2 with the missus and that seems to devour most of our time...
Plus the autumn's turned grey. And that's somewhat depressing.
BTS WIP P42 PL and so on... So eh, in English: behind the scenes work in progress from the 42nd Project L.
Still browsing through the videos, perhaps I'll manage to choose a full-length, uncut video for Patrons only!

It's been a while. Again. Or at least it feels like that. Somehow the ever darker and darker days have sucked out the inspiration and it's really hard to find it. To edit these photos took almost a week, which is really unusual for me.
I'm in a really need of a holiday, but cannot really afford one. I'd love to go someplace else, ...

Sneak peeks!
The inspiration to edit the photos of the 42nd project has been somewhere to be not found. One image at time is better than nothing, I'd say, so here's another work in progress sneak peek thingy.
Damn, Espoonlahti looks awesome.
Autumn's here, and so are we! We shot the 42nd part yesterday and I'm still editing the photos, but here's a work in progress sneak peek for you. More to follow!

Behind the scenes are here!
It has taken me slightly longer than it usually takes, but schoolwork and other journalistic works have kept me quite busy. I'd love to dedicate more time for Project L, but a man has to earn his money somehow to live.
The next Project L has not yet been planned as I had to cancel one alr...

The video is here, finally! I've been slacking off and working on multiple projects at the same time, thus the production of the video really took its time.
But worry not, it's here now!
Because I'm feeling very lazy after a long routine combined with work & school. I might need a day to rest before I publish the bts set.
Still browsing through the videos. Here, have a photo from the behind the scenes while you wait!
Yup, got plenty of video. And it's decent, I would say. Although it'll take a while to crawl through all the material we shot. Maybe a bit longer than usual...

And we're here!
I really can't fathom how windy it really was again. The strongest storm of the year struck Helsinki and Jasmin had to sink at least 300 gallons of hair spray to keep her hair from flaying around. Eventually, rain rinsed it all away.
I'll start digging through the videos we took with the action camera on the top o...
