Not gonna lie, I'm really kinda liking the retired aspect of Enji's canon endgame! I have so many headcanons of him mellowing once the active hero work is off his shoulders, kinda to the point that it alarms him how much he enjoys being out of the thing that he had into his whole life. You know, rediscovering who you are later in life. I find that thought so comforting.
Me being me though, I of course present this to you with a side of angst, because oh boy do I love pairing this with Hawk...
