Expansion of Ability descriptions.

When I made the Ability descriptions, I tried to keep them short and concise so as not to distract too much of the player's attention during character creation. Plans & Expectations.

If everything had been normal, version 1.7 should have been released today, then two weeks later, its public version. But everything went to hell and created quite a bunch of problems (a couple of posts down if you don't have any idea what I'm talking about).

The nice 1.7 number will appear when I can finish it properly. Alas, it's hard for me to give you a time frame right now. Nevertheless, it's +/- 90% of the episode. Tested to make sure it's passable. But bugs with some specific combinations of different variables cannot be ruled out. Hopefully, I can polish this up in the next 2 weeks before it's time for the public version.

Update 1.7 shifts to March

Patron voting is now complete. The post with it should be open for public viewing and comment by now. Most want a full-fledged update, not a short one. So be it.

So far, the biggest update was 1.5. The upcoming update, if I do it right, will probably be comparable in size. Despite the extra month, the actual work for me has gotten significantly more. But that's okay. It's good to keep yourself creatively challenged.

A bit of clarification.

What was planned?

Progress report of Update 1.7

Main.

Usually, I work along the lines of - scene ready in draft → add it to the game, and test it. But because of the specific, "hybridized" gameplay at the beginning of the next episode, it's not very convenient, so I doing the draft of a whole series of scenes altogether this time, about ~ half of the entire update/episode.

Update 1.6 (public)

Well, two weeks have passed and it's time to share. The update is in the attached files.

As usual, I used the time between patron and public versions for deep testing and polishing. You can find a list of changes in the Changelog section in the game itself. In brief, a few arts and portraits were replaced, one bug was found and fixed, and a lot of small things were improved (I think so). And, of course, added all new patrons to the credit section. Thanks, guys and gals!
