Sketch is done. Inks will be next. The layout on page 6 / very early sketch is already finished, too. I will probably not finish the comic by my self-imposed deadline since it's looking like it will be more pages than I was expecting, but if I have to work on it in December it's not the end of the world.

Progress! Base colors are down and I figured out the coloring / design of the cat OC that will be appearing on this page. I wanted her to look interesting enough that I wouldn't mind drawing her again later, while at the same time not sticking out so much that she distracts from Carmelita. Hopefully I've struck that balance. Generally speaking I prefer to go more subtle / natural with the color schemes of my OCs anyway, so it's working for me.

I tried some different shading methods on this pic as opposed to my usual flat shading, and I rather liked the results. It's nice to be able to try something new once in a while.

I am making an ambitious effort this month and attempting to make a full-color multi-page comic in celebration of the Carmelita Fox Fiesta event. Lineart on Page 1 is done and I am currently working on coloring it.
