Some fun times with painting in SAI. Finished it off with the horse and some color adjustment in Photoshop because I only have so much patience for SAI, hahah.

Characters from the Firefly game, Indy and Pen. They're the only members of the crew taller than 5' 3" which is simultaneously hilarious to me as none of us planned this and unfortunate for the smaller characters, being more or less in constant danger of getting an accidental elbow to the face.

Recent doodles from the Dungeons and Dragons campaign.

A hypothetical D&D character that I haven't used yet. I don't usually do references without clothes for humanoid characters because for the most part, humans don't have noteworthy body markings. But for Astrid here I took inspiration from bronze and copper and the patina that appears on the metals so there's a lot more variation than I would typically use.
Figured that pretty much any color I picked for her costume would clash with that goofy skin color combo so I thought I mig...

My friend needed some help with setting up painting in Photoshop, so I threw this together for him. Figured someone here might find it helpful as well!
These are more or less the settings I use for every brush I paint with in Photoshop. The brush itself may change, but these three settings stay fairly consistent!
