For the record: my biggest phobia concerns parasites or bugs that get in you and are still alive. So, you know, I LOVED this episode. @_@ Shion, I am WORRIED for you.

You all know I have a soft spot for "Baby Ling" in this series...and in this episode we ACTUALLY see baby Ling! But man...at what emotional cost?!
This episode paused slightly on the mysterious present and took a dip into the past, but the threads of everything with WuXian's history as the Yiling Patriarch, his downfall, and Yanli's fate are slowly tying together...and I'm not sure I'm ready for what's to come.

After months and months of requests for this anime, I am finally getting to this short series that has had a lot of hype. And so far? It's living up to it!

The prologue to Season Three, and it's setting up lots of things: the second years transitioning into their final year of high school, the new characters getting integrated into the main plot, and Mako and Haru getting adjusted to living in the big city of Tokyo!

Cheng shows up, but what makes things more complicated are these new characters entering the fray! WuXian and Wangji continue their investigations, leading to converging paths with Cheng and Ling -- but we're not getting backstory of a few years ago, or even a decade, but all the way back to WuXian's childhood?!
I'm sure this in NO WAY has to do with this mysterious Xiao we've just been introduced to, that was a disciple of Baoshan Sanren...right? RIGHT?!

I've wanted to see this series for a while now, and have finally gotten around to indulging myself with it -- and since there were only 5 short(ish) episodes, I decided to do a rare thing for me: BINGE WATCH the whole season!
The comedy in this series is so wonderful, and I LOVE the concept! The animation is definitely going to split its audience, but I still found this show fun to watch and talk about!
