I had no clue walking into this film what it was and was so pleasantly surprised, so I will keep this as spoiler-free as I can - but what a great movie! The journey has led Shirase here to come to terms with her mother's disappearance, and this series masters the use of "Understatement" to make a powerful, emotionally-charged episode that squeezed the tears out of me...no onion-peeling required!
