Violet visits a widowed woman and her daughter, whose situation parallels the loss that Violet has just had to come to grips with...sometimes it's the simplest things, and this stand alone story -- allowing Violet to express as much emotion as we've seen her in this series -- left me an absolute mess.

The Tokyo Nationals Qualifier Final Game is ON!
Mei....oh, Mei, you JEALOUS GREMLIN, you! So many interesting dynamics being brought into this game! 3rd year shenanigans, 1st years being awesome and wholesome, player and coaching philosophies put to the test, and so much humor, heartfelt moments, and TENSION...and the game seems far from over.

These past few episodes have been heartbreaking, as Violet goes through the stages of grief with the presumed death of her Major, Gilbert. Violet learns the power of a letter through getting her first one, and between that, confronting the memories of Gilbert she has, and asking Hodgins, "Do we have the right to live?" -- This episode was a straight up GUT PUNCH of emotions.
And we're just getting into the final "act" of the series...I'm not sure I'm ready for what's to come. But ...

The Rule of Episode 8 has never let me down, and this is no exception! Our chaotic gremlin FINALLY puts two and two together and his reaction is PRICELESS!
Wangji continues to shatter #partnergoals while being the most precious ever, but MAN, do I feel bad for his brother. Poor XiChen...the Lan men fall fast and HARD, and while Wangji landed our best boi, WuXian, XiChen's clear love and care for Yao...is a bit more complicated. Episode 7 reduced me to tears, but this episode crushed my SOUL. Violet, I feel so badly for you, girl! And Gilbert -- I didn't expect to see the emotional roller coaster he's on versus Violet's cold demeanor slowly blooming alongside Gilbert.
