Happy World Whiskey Day!!!

So I wanted to add a few photos in celebration of this grand day. I'd like to thank a sweet friend from Michigan for gifting me today's whiskey. I know I've said this before, but I love getting whiskey from different parts of the country. I get to taste and learn about whiskies that I never knew existed. I honestly thought most of it came from Kentucky here in the U.S..

I want to start by saying "Thank You!" to a wonderful patron for this wonderful set. This was a custom set created for me by Harlow & Fox called Isabelle. I was super excited to get it. Having it custom made will sure spoil a girl. I just hope I do it justice. 

I have lots of fun things planned this weekend. Be sure to check in sometime tomorrow. Hope everyone's weekend is starting off well. Mine actually started this morning and very much needed.

I'm feeling kind of turquoise today. Bright colors for this bright beautiful day. This goes back a ways, but I'm thinking this might have to go into my suitcase for the weekend. It always makes me smile, especially when I've got a bit of a tan. Hope everyone is as ready for this weekend as I am.

Oh My Goodness

How could this possibly happen? I completely missed National Stocking Day, yesterday. If there's one day that I should revere, it's National Stocking Day! I guess better late than never. I will dedicate this entire week to stockings. This image is from a shoot I'm currently doing and I have some of my favorite stockings on, La Dame de France. She's part of the future of bringing back beautiful stockings and I'm very excited about that.

Throwback Thursday

I can't believe I still have this set of lingerie and it's still one of my favorites. It always makes me think of spring and it has wonderful detailing. When something is well made, it becomes timeless. The stockings are much harder to keep, even after just a few wearings. I think the age when women wore stockings all the time would never be able to afford going through them this way. I love to wear them, but have a hard time keeping up.

Dinner & Drinks

I had been wanting to try Jean Georges at the Aria for awhile and finally got a chance to go. It's a lovely restaurant with delicious food and good service. Appetizers included oysters and shrimp with yummy sauces. The Japanese F1 Waygu filet with Hudson Valley foie gras was a tasty entree with creamed spinach and mushrooms as sides. The finale was a decadent slice of cheesecake with lemon and lime sorbet. Heaven!

Happy Derby Day!

I saved Whiskey Wednesday for today because of the Kentucky Derby. There really isn't a finer day to drink good bourbon than today. I have to admit that there was no particular reason I chose this one other than it was a prominent Kentucky horse farm and that I loved the bottle. Same philosophy I use when picking my horse. 😀

Friday's frolic

I think I'm tipsy. Dinner was amazing, but I feel bad we didn't get through all of it. So many delicious things. We need to start earlier, so we can break it up, but I wanted to come back to the room and play. You were looking too sexy in your suit. I want to stretch out on this wonderful couch and make love until the stars come out. 

Can you help me with my bra? It's entirely too restricting. Your hands feel good on my skin and I don't think I'm going to need these knickers either...

Let's dance our way into the beautiful month of May. I had a great weekend in the mountains to get that last little bit of snow and now I'm truly ready for everything to start blooming and all the colors.

Is it Tuesday?

Tuesday is just that weird day. The week seems so long still and the dread of Monday lingers. Hope this gives you that added push to "Keep Calm & Carry On" I think everyone in Las Vegas will have to keep calm this week with the NFL Draft coming to town. Lots of streets will be closed off, but it should be an exciting time.

Stocking tension..

Can you feel the tension of my garters? They're tight like a string of a guitar. They would snap against my skin if you pulled them. It surprises me that women could walk around all day with these. I would constantly be pulling, tightening, and straightening if I had to do a lot of walking. Maybe that's where a lot of the fantasies come from in watching women do this out in public. The joy of getting a glimpse as she lifts her dress or skirt. Wearing my gloves would definitely help. 

Photoshoot Prep

Here are some behind the scenes shots from last weekend's photoshoot at The Encore  in Las Vegas. I usually begin by unpacking everything first, nesting in the hotel and then prepping my skin and hair. As my hair is setting and my skin is masking, I lay out all my outfits on the bed and coordinate what will go best where in the suite. I finalize stocking and shoe choices and decide on what robes and jewelry work best. I can't tell you how many times I change my mind! 🤔 Then it's hair ...

Whiskey Wednesday

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Today's whiskey pick is an Irish Whiskey called Dingle, that is very hard to find here in Las Vegas and I was thrilled when I was gifted this bottle from a new friend in Colorado.  I tend to be very sensitive to a smokey finish, which this one definitely has.
